Is it possible to have multiple emuNANDs that can be booted up by holding certain buttons at start? For example, I could have something like this:

Press nothing: Main emuNAND
Press L: Dev firmware emuNAND
Press R: sysNAND

Is this possible?

emuNAND is a section of the sdcard. So for multiple emunands you could use multiple sdcards.

Perhaps different cfw can be run with/over the same emuNAND though

I'm not going to switch out my SD Card every time I want to switch emuNANDs. :glare:
I'm sure someone could develop a way of doing it; but don't think anyone has at present.

Currently emuNAND uses ~1GB of unformatted space at end of sdcard, so add a small formatted buffer (if needed) then another unformatted section for another emuNAND and so on.
I'm sure someone can make something like that.

But CakesFW already does it. I just want to know how to do it with Luma3DS and A9LH.

  • Use second EmuNAND as default: Makes the second EmuNAND the default. This has no effect if there's no second EmuNAND.
  • If the option is on, holding down B will boot the first EmuNAND.
  • If the options is off, holding down B will boot the second EmuNAND.

Yea; just ninja'd. I'll take a step back.

Luma settings (select on loading) has autoboot sysnand (for full nand a9lh luma); and use second emunand as default.
No button combo to switch between the three though; so modify from setting I guess would have to do - unless there's a payload .bin somewhere that could switch these settings??
