Hey gang,

first and foremost, please be gentle. I'm new to this and feel a bit in over my head. That being said, I am determined to make it through; just seeking some guidance.

I've been trying to follow this youtube guide to installing Reinand/FBI/emunand on my system (v9.2.0) and, while it appeared to be going well, I made a mistake during the emunand portion and have been unable to recreate my past success.

Since the first attempt failed, I have reformatted the sd card I've been using and starting fresh, but with each attempt I find I hit a wall sooner into the process. My second attempt stalled when I couldn't get FBI to function within ReiNand. My third found that attempting to open the Homebrew Launcher from within ReiNand bounced me back to the stock firmware. This last attempt won't even open ReiNand at all. I'm vexed.

I've done copious amounts of google searching and can't seem to make sense of what is happening. My completely uneducated supposition is that emunand made changes within the 3ds itself that are preventing me from moving forward, even with a fresh wiped sd card? I'm a little foggy on how it works.

I was hoping I could ask you to give me some pointers on what may possibly be a very obvious user flaw. Thanks so much in advance for your guidance and time. Cheers!

So, gang, you need to first uh remove that emunand partition of your SD.
Then uh gang, you need to ditch YouTube tutorials , see , here the gang uses plailect's guide that's regularly updated and is more reliable

Even though you're right, there's no need to be a dick to others. Respect is key; everyone here is the same.

I wasn't a dick, I was just joking about the way he adressed to us, don't get triggered by just mocking a simple thing :P
And I respected him, because I answered his question, otherwise my post would be an entire joke, making fun of him for using the term gang
and I well know that

It's not about getting "triggered", it's about unnecessary jokes. You can answer questions without trying to be funny. But there's no need to go off-topic, so whatever.

lol, I write what I well want on my posts, I did not have any intention to offend OP, neither to attack him, and in practise, this could not be seen in any possible way as an attack but more of a (additional) joke.
And there's nothing wrong with being funny and answering a question at the same time, it's just the way I post

To those who lent their time and expertise (even Davidosky99), thank you so much for your help. That guide was incredibly comprehensive and enlightening to what is actually happening during the process. Happy to report that, following the walkthrough carefully, I was able to get my system running as intended!

To those who might stumble upon this in the future, I can attest to the wonders of this guide. Check it out! Thanks, gang.
