I need to download Luma + NTR 3.4 on my n3ds xl but it's version 10.3. I have everything downloaded onto my SD but nothing has worked, so I'm assuming 10.3 is too high of a version? Is there any way to safely downgrade a n3ds xl?

Use a sysUpdater version .3dsx

Do part 1, 2 and 3 if you want to stay on *hax as entrypoint

Do everything if you want to have Arm9LoaderHax as entrypont

Use Part 1 and 2 of Plailect's A9LH Guide.

What are you actually having problems with?
won't boot at all (Luma comes with Menuhax, I'm assuming this is all on homebrew? I've never used anything other than ROM hacking apps). I had a similar problem with my o3ds not running menuhax and it was because of the version so I assumed it was that lol.

If it isn't a problem with the console, would it be with the SD card then? (attached is a screenshot of what it looks like atm)

Do you use a boot manager? If so, make sure that the boot.cfg file boots Luma3DS.dat when Luma3DS is booted.

I was under the impression that Luma3DS was a Homebrew app, since I couldn't find any instructions to boot it from the home menu? Is it something seperate?
There are different access points into Luma. One of them is through the homebrew menu. You can install a boot manager and be able to boot the homebrew menu and an emunand. Just replace the boot.3dsx on the sd with the boot.3dsx of the boot manager. Once you do that, reply back.

I've put the boot.3dsx of the boot manager on the root, the boot.3dsx in the menuhax folder is still there. Is this ok? :^0

Menuhax will not boot for some reason; I was going to just copy everything from my o3ds' sd card onto my n3ds but I'm pretty sure Menuhax has to be installed individually for each system.
Yes. Install menuhax separately. Don't change your theme or it will break menuhax. After installing it, boot into menuhax. The button config should stay the same, if not, just change it back.
