Homebrew what can my old 2ds do

i have a broken 2ds i dropped it and the screen broke everything else works great its on firmware 10.5 i let it sit in the dust for a while and decided to ask you guys what i should do with it and if i can fix the screen what hacks could i run on it (I cleared the sd card with all the homebrew stuff on it)

nothing. no userland exploits for 10.5-11.0 iirc or was it 10.6-11.0. only primary ones are powersaves oot, powersaves psmd, cubic ninja or freakyhax

10.5 supports Browserhax. From there, you can install a different, more reliable hax, like Basehaxx, OoThax or whatever, and downgrade (format before downgrading to avoid softbricks) following Plailect's guide, and get A9LH. You'll be good to go.

uh, pretty wrong. 10.6-10.7 both have userland exploits and both work with svchax/memchunkhax2.1, being downgradeable via software.

11.0 also has userland exploits, though no ARM11 exploits and no way of doing a software-based downgrade.

10.5, 10.6, 10.7 and 11.0 has a userland exploit, but 10.5-10.7 is (currently) the only firmware you can downgrade on without hardmod.

One, use Browserhax to install some other exploit (if you have Pokémon OR/AS, OoT, VVVVV, Citizens of Earth, Pokémon: Super Mystery Dungeon, etc, or just install Menuhax), then follow this:

Just a tip to save some money on a screen, just search eBay for a 2ds that has a software brick or broken buttons and take the screen out of it.

Thanks for the idea (Those 2ds oem screens are mighty pricey almost half of a brand new 2ds)

thats just the touch screen thing that detects touch inputs
