1. This isn't the first time someone's brought up a game that crashed and claimed "oh an exploit"
2. See above - it doesn't actually work that way
3. People are getting aggravated because these types of posts pop up all the time, and literally ALWAYS lead to dead ends
4. He hasn't provided anywhere near enough information for this to be replicated

Well, what firm is he on? Userland still has homebrew that can backup saves. (Although I don't remember what it's called )

OotHax works, but the physical mem layouts are randomized. Therefore he would have to try multiple times to get in.
And OOTHax can be primary via powersaves.

Not so much. On vanilla 11.0, it's actually pretty much hard blocked. He is/was working on reimplementing the exploit in a completely different manner as they killed http access from CN as the game itself never legitimately uses it, and it's only used for exploits.

I do agree. I've seen these scenarios. Once I get the save file, I'm going to tear it apart with HxD and see if something comes along.
Not about the attention. I've always hated attention. But this is my chance to get something done that is productive during my summer.
