Please do not spread misinformation. This video is no proof at all. Sorry to say, but it sounds really fake to me. Just read through the thread he created. He has no proof it's working. So no, you're wrong. You can't play DS games without a flashcard right now. The problem is that the DS relies on cartridge input and not SD card input. To be able to let the 3DS play DS games from the SD card, we'd either have to reverse engineer TWL_FIRM or create an good emulator (which isn't shown in the video).

Just curious how well is the emulator right now? Also, to be honest, s staff member could but a front page banner with this information about firmware 11.0.0-33 not downgrade possible right? I mean just to ward off people who visit for these reasons?

Sure its terrible at the moment, but obviously the idea is feasible, if you convert an emulator properly to the 3DS via homebrew, it should work like anything else, and it almost certainly will
He didn't say claim it was working amazingly, how can you claim 'fake'/ignorance with this evidence AND more importantly, logic, backed behind it.

There is no link to his github of this so called emulator in this thread. Also, have you even watched the video he posted? He posted one of the "graphical issues" which just a few scattered pixels. That doesn't proof anything. I could also write 10 lines of code that make the graphics screw up and film that. Besides the video posted in this thread could also very well be premade. It does seem very odd that the two screens are forced next to each other on the top screen. We don't see any buttons pressed. We don't see anything loaded. Sorry to say, but again that's not proof.
Believe me, I want this to be true as much as you do. But for right now? I'm not buying it. There have been too many threads about DS emulations already. The 3DS simply isn't powerful enough to emulate the DS (it has a Special DS mode for playing the DS cartridges, but that's not emulating because it still relies on the cartridge slot for input) and running DS games from the SD card would require reverse engineering TWL_FIRM as I mentioned before.

We can make a million of these threads and still get the same questions asked over and over again. If anything, these kinds of threads are just as much as waste of time/space as those threads. Neither of them really accomplish anything and both get quickly dated.

I am happy to swallow my words now on there being no github ect ect, because I wanted this to be true as much as you do (read my post!).
