i downloaded the v96 for minecraft from uwizard. I put it in my updates folder, and whenever i boot up minecraft through loadiine i get a black screen. Am i missing a step?
i did, i couldn't seem to find an answer, thanks for one though. I searched the entire gbatemp forums.Yeah, you aren't reading the compatibility list or using the search function. Even GOOGLE would have given you an answer.
With the update, you have to play with an account not connected to NNID, or use SSB mode. If it still crashes, either update Loadiine, or take the update out of a separate folder, and overwrite all the base files with it (make a backup if you want beforehand). The update feature was broke on a few Loadiine releases not too far back, and this seemed to be the fix for those versions.i did, i couldn't seem to find an answer, thanks for one though. im on the latest nightly, and it worked untill i put the update in. I'll probably just delete the update. That or maybe the uploader on that iso site already gave me the latest version idk. add another mii. When prompted to login to nnid, choose later. you will need to use this mii with no nnid to play minecraftim on the latest nightly, and it worked untill i put the update in. i mentioned i already did this by saying it works without the update, how would i know if im on the latest version? I might be and i just dont know it. I kept getting bugs, so i assumed i wasnt considering the wii u version got a massive bug-squashing update.add another mii. Even the latest update works with SSB disc without any problems no matter if linked to NNID or not? With the update, you have to play with an account not connected to NNID, or use SSB mode. Sorry for my harsh response earlier, but I've been lead to believe the update doesn't work in either mode as of some random nightly a few months ago.
Just merge the update data with the game.
For me, putting the update in the "updates" folders doesn't work but merging he files does.
- So you're using newest update (or at least v80) on Loadiine v0.3 nightly?
- NNID linked?
- Smash or MiiMaker?
If I can respond to that too, I have no idea what smash version it is. If you want to see what I use it's minecraft on page 1 of that iso site, though I am using the latest nightly of gx2. My mii has no nnid linked. whether I boot it with miimaker or smash, the result is the same. Crashes with linked nnid, fine with no nnid.

Shukran1 - I don't remember the exact version but it's the one with the mario pack update. Using the latest nightly build via homebrew launcher 1.1.
2 - No NNID linked with the mii.
3 - Smash. But works with miimaker as well.
So I guess the update feature got broken for that game again. It was fixed a little bit ago, and then now I guess it got broke again. I just don't use the update feature of Loadiine anymore and merge all updates now, everything in the world seems to work now. Most of my Loadiine stuff is ddd dumps anyway, which is basically the same thing as merging the update, and not using a separate update folder, and I guess why I rarely have any issues using Loadiine. Those dirty pirates on the other hand ...Just merge the update data with the game.

Oh, right. The several threads documenting this issue must have thrown me off, asshole. So, even your abundant lack of help was wrong. lol
Sorry, really not trying to be a t#$t but that's genuinely hilarious and I actually laughed out loud.

It would be "hole" not wholeI would love to believe there was several threads documenting the issue but after you last attempt to educate someone, it has become quite apparent you don't no your ass from your elbow. (Tip: your ass is the one with the whole in it) At least I'm component enough to no where my asshole is.
Your official credibility rating here at gbatemp is now in the minus, newbie.
