Is there anything that can go wrong between downloading a .zip, and putting the contents on the microSD Card, overwriting old files? And yes, I can see by the version number in Luma3DS Settings that it updated to the correct nightly.

It's been like a week, and I still have the error. Meh.
(By the way, you're kinda forced to reboot if you want to use the updated payload)

You also have updated to 11.0 from system settings? And the game in question also has been updated etc? There can be few things.

Everything has been updated. Everything was working fine beforehand, and just randomly this.
It's not a specific game; it's any game that uses the eShop. It won't load because of this.

Because oficial updates slow. And this ALEX's updates kind faster. So i can trust right?

Not so much as test builds are untested and thus potentially unstable.
You are better using this only when the official is lacking one key aspect
