Hello, I have a few problems with CIAngel. They are:
  • I've downloaded two DSiWare games, but both give me a black error screen. (WarioWare: Touched! and Calculator)
  • I've downloaded Mario Party: Island Tour, and it doesn't show up on the HOME Menu.
All of them are the correct region. I'm using Luma3DS on 11.0.

did you post in the CIAngel thread?
are you running dsiware from emunand? you need to run from sysnand, or install to sysnand and emunand, then you can run from emunand.
not a problem with CIAngel though.

not sure about mario party... you created the cia, install the game directly, or just the ticket?

Yes, but no one answered and I don't want to be an arsehole and post it multiple times.

Oh, right. I forgot about that. *facepalm* I'll try it when I get home.

I was in Install CIA mode.

maybe check with devmenu/system settings/fbi or something and see if you can see the title installed there.
if not, try again i guess :)

Are you sure the installation finished correctly? I often overlook the error message... It happens when I try to directly install it from CIAngel, but when I just create CIA of same title and then install it with FBI/BBM then it's working correctly.

I actually did respond to you in the CIAngel thread:
Hmm, I'm getting the same thing, no idea why though...

*Edit - Seems to only happen sometimes, most often seems to be when installing a title that already exists I think? Going to open a GitHub issue.

It does appear the games actually get installed and can be run though :)

Of course, you say they give a black error screen, but not where. In my case, it was while installing (At the end of installation), not while launching the game. Both titles also still installed correctly from what I could tell, and were usable after rebooting.

There's also what cearp suggested, if you're running EmuNAND, you'll need to install them in both emuNAND and sysNAND.

Hopefully that's enough to get it working :)

Huh, weird. I didn't get notified about that. Sorry. :(
But yeah, it happens in launch, so I'm pretty sure it's the emuNand/sysNand problem.

Ah okay, I ran into a different problem then. Let me know if the emu/sysNAND thing fixes it for you :)

And no problem. In the future, don't be afraid to post a second time after a day or so if your post hasn't been answered, sometimes we miss things when the activity on the thread picks up :) Just try not to bump your issue after only a few minutes ;)
