No, no hard-mod. I told them that I have A9LH hacked consoles, but none with hard-mod. That's why they put me into the 2nd wave of beta testers.

Checked on GW 3.7.1 - EmuNand GW3D 11.0.0-33E. It looks like it fixed. Couldn't try much... i saved in a different spot in Pokemon Y (.3ds) and turned of the console. Restartet -> MSET Boot -> Load the Game -> It had the new save. Didn't even new that's it was fixed.

Pokemon saves in the rom or something like that.
A matter of card 1 or 2 game.

Most of other (.3DS) games save in the SD card. We should try with another game to be sure.

It's almost always been like that since they implemented the multirom menu way back. The problem is if you save in Pokemon And the battery dies before you shut off like you did or go back to home menu you will loose your save

If they make the annoying and risky process of the downgrade fool-proof then I'm all aboard that hype, it'll be a nice time to revive my Gateway
I can't wait to see how they implemented the OTP dumping process and I hope it is as safe as it can be without requiring a hardmod in case things go jackshit.

i can't test it right now but i could have sworn that they changed it to that months to almost years ago.. i remember reading a changelog stating "you no longer have to close a game..."

when you shut down the console it closes the app first, so closing the app is still needed. hence the battery dies or game crashes (for whatwver reason) mid game the save is lost.

Ok, so that's not that helpful. I can close the app myself. The best thing would be to save if we have a crash or something. I'll so continu to close and restart app frequently when i play for a long time.

I'm on 10.6 and own a Sky3ds with cubic ninja, I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to wait for this? From what I've been reading, there are people reporting that when downgrading it softbricks and they have to update to 11.0. I formatted my 3ds twice but I don't know the odds of it happening. Also, if I successfully downgrade to 9.2 and attempt to install a9hl, can the softbrick issue occur again or will you be able to backup and try again from 9.2?
