ROM Hack JP Mii Maker on US 3DS?

Hi, is it possible to run the Mii Maker in Japanese on US New 3DS 9.2 AuReinand?

From experiences with my dirty region swapped n3ds, short answer: you cannot run system cias from a different region, they result in a crash if they appear on your home screen (you have to press power then home after launching freemultipatcher for them to appear) but fbi might be able to launch them.

Just use the Mii Modifier for gold pants but change the name to the JPN name you want. Thats what I did and it worked

Although I haven't tested it myself, you can always use NTR CFW and the Language Emulation Plugin. It enables a out of region keyboards on your 3DS. I tested it on a Japanese Tomodachi Life and Japanese Animal Crossing New Leaf.

what homebrew?

Extract the CFL_DB.dat with JK's save manager
pop the SD into your computer or FTP the file over.
Edit it with the Mii editor, save it.
put it back on your 3ds if FTP, or just pop it back in if you directly edited it on your SD.
import it with JK's Save Manager.
Done.

not my experience, other region system stuff worked for me, i didn't try everything, but i'm certain some things at least will work...
install the japanese cia and test it out
although, it would probably access a different save than the usa version, maybe you could simply rename the save... maybe not needed

If you mean HBL, eg, hax, 3dsx, don't bother. you don't need *hax for much besides downgrading and actual homebrew which won't run as a cia.
install https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B00en2wutBvIUHQxZkExMmxTT2M (from JK's thread) and use it.
Ta-da, no *hax needed.
