Will the gods of perfect stability come down and reign upon the Stability Throne, or will we always get stability updates, but not perfect? o.O seems that's all we're getting, and I'm not complaining, but we don't expect updates often, so shouldn't they make a massive stable update at once?

Well, technically they are patching entrypoint exploits, so it's increasing system stability. It's Nintendo's perfect way of patching homebrew, without mentioning homebrew, which would cause a storm of 8 year-olds to flock to GBATemp or /r/3DSHacks, leaving a blazing trail of piracy.

xD thanks for the reply. I thought that was what it was for.

True fact; the last non-stability update was 9.6.0-24.

I swear, the "enhance the user experience" part is just to spite us. Removing homebrew doesn't enhance the user experience, it just shows that Nintendo wants to be a bitch when it comes to DRM.

Yup, stability and security update is a result of the 'exploit release --> patching' cat and mouse game between devs and Nintendo. Usually there's collateral damage too, namely exploited games being pulled off the eshop for good.

RIP VVVVVV...

Crazy, that was a really popular game, too. Bold move on Ninty's part.

These gifs are exactly what GBAtemp is for

Yes GBAtemp you are annoying me once again!

This is a reminder to everyone that GBAtemp is not an imageboard it is a discussion forum. There has been an increasing trend that I have been moderating more and more lately of people only replying to posts with an image or a gif. This is not acceptable posting, especially when most of the instances of this tend to be stupid, off topic or flamey and add nothing of value to the thread they are posted in.

So remember, having the entirety of your post consist of an image or gif will result in your post being deleted and may also result in a warn! :O

Thanks.
