I tried EVERYTHING to update my Wii U but it keeps giving me this error! I unmodded my vWii and Wii U of exploits including HBC, I restarted, reconnected the Wii U, same with the network, I moved some saves over to another drive, I even ran a SysCheck on Homebrew but I don't understand at all what it means as to why I can't update to 5.5.1 from 5.5.0!! Someone help!

Why didn't you say so? This is serious. I will not tolerate sarcasm.
A lot of members get really irritated when people repeatedly ask for help in the tutorials section. There's barely ever real tutorials in there any more. Post in the right section and you'll get real help rather than sarcastic answers. This should probably be in Wii U Hacking and Homebrew.

Youtube comment that might help you.
Hi all! I'm also with that same problem (my Wii U is on the 4.1U version, trying to update to 5.X.X). So far I've discovered: 1. This might happen if your Wii U was softmoded on vWii (not sure if mine is modded, should be new but I might have been scammed); 2. Your network could be the problem - Saw several threads saying to use another wifi connection (tether your phone or go to your friends house); 2.1. You can try to manually configure your internet connection on Wii U (imput SSID, etc); 2.2. You can try to download the update without installing it directly, by pushing the "not now" button on download page and restanting the Wii U AFTER the download finishers (check download management page on Home button); 3. You might have to send it over to Nintendo for fixing. :(

Thanks, I'll try these and see what works.
