Yes that is correct but that isn't what was asked. The question was whether downgrading emunand from 11.0 to 2.1 (to get the otp) is still possible. The 2.1 downgrade part uses PlaiSysUpdater.cia according to the guide.

Ah, I missed the emunand part. Also, it is possible to do the entire process to get OTP in emuNand? Meaning I don't have to risk (besides time) to get it? I had no idea.

Unfortunately no. You downgrade emunand and then otp helper verifies the downgrade to 2.1 (multiple times) and writes it to sysnand.

Ive got one more system in the house that isnt A9LH, ill see if i cant get it to downgrade from 11.0 to 2.1 on Emunand tomorrow.

Well, thanks to @Wolfvak's quick work on the version detection, I have the signature patch, firmprot, emunand, and loader all working in Cakes again. No offsets changed, interestingly.

But yeah, this update seems like a very "stable" update. It may break...a lot? IDK.

Also OP - Cakes does not work in its current state. Cakes itself can boot, but all the patches need fixes and so it is only capable of booting vanilla without fixes. Anyone running stable 138 or the nightlies are KIA at the moment and can only boot unpatched.

Yes, EmuNAND does not change the SysNAND so it is fine to update.

You'll need an entry point (OoT with the hax save, CN, or V*hax), but yeah, it'll work as long as you don't update to 11.0

Well shoot! I was in the middle of following Plailect's guide when the update came down. I'm unable to downgrade from 11 to 2.1 on emuNAND with my n3dsxl. Luckily I still have 9.2 on sysNAND. Just gotta wait and see what happens now..
