Okay guys. So.
Accidental upgrade to 10.7....check!
Ninjhax 2.6 beta to downgrade to 9.2 sysnand....check!
Format sysNAND to unlink, making sure SD card is removed....check!
All games/installed CIAs disappear in both emuNAND and sysNAND?....check?? .-.
SD Card still as full (32 gb used up) as before I accidentally upgraded....check. ;-;
So I'm running (what should be unlinked hopefully) 9.2 sysNAND and 9.2 Luma3DS emuNAND on an O3DS
What do I do, based GBATemp gods?

Are you using a9lh?

Luma3DS should not be booting sysNAND unless:
A) There is no emuNAND
B) Autoboot sysNAND is enabled in the config screen.

Are you sure you still have your emuNAND? You didn't make a new one after you accidentally updated did you? How did you update sysNAND, were you trying to update emuNAND and did the wrong one? You mention formatting sysNAND to unlink your emuNAND, though they should have already been unlinked from before you accidentally updated.

For emuNAND setup without A9LH, you don't need any options enabled, although "Show current NAND in System Settings" is helpful.

So I managed to solve the issue by deleting the config and selecting "Use 2nd emunand as default".
However, this only restored some of the CIAs. (The Legit CIAs such as Pkm X&Y as well as some homebrew like Gimme 300 Coins) I have many more than this installed on my SD Card. :P
While I'm asking, is there any way to boot into Luma without having to press any buttons and going through Homebrew? :P This isn't nearly as important as the main question but hey if it can be answered that be the tits. :D

Although you should really setup a9lh. You probably don't have an emunand. Create one or format your current one with decrypt9wip. Also, if you don't wanna use a9lh(a mistake within itself) you should disable the option Autoboot sysnand

I'm going to hold off on a9lh for a little bit because I don't have the mental capacity to deal with all of that at the moment. xD

Its pretty easy once you finished and the process isn't really that hard. What's driving you crazy right now are the slow speeds and awful boot time with that pesky hack. And its not that dangerous , its only dangerous if you're blind or don't know how to read. Otherwise you'll be ok

You're talking about Plailect's guide? That takes 3 hours and lots of patience from everyone I've heard. :P

It took me more like 5 though I must confess I wasn't watching the progress bars like a hawk so chances are it was just sitting there doing nothing for some of that time.

Yeah see that's why I'm not doing that right now it is 4:19AM here I am not trying to kill myself.

Yeah, for me it was mostly do all the steps up to one that requires waiting (making a backup, downgrading emunand, using otphelper to downgrade sysnand to 2.1, restoring backups), then do some TF2, check to see if it is done and if it isn't, do another round of TF2.

It took me a day and a half :-D But that was a much older version of the guide, and every time it started on a progress bar I went and did some chores before coming back, so mine probably sat for a long time doing nothing as well. This is the bonus to a9lh they don't tell you about: your house gets really clean!

Since you don't want to use A9LH, install menuhax. However, from the sound of it, you have two EmuNANDs setup, and one is corrupt, which is why the "use second" option is necessary to boot into one. If I were you, I'd backup any saves possible, format the SD with GParted (any tool on Windows won't work because the NT kernel is lame), and start fresh.

It takes me like 2-3 hours for each 3ds I a9lh' from 10.7 to 10.7. Dont do it late youll fuck up.
But I usually do them in batch like 3 3dses at a time and its fairly easy and fast ( I use multiple SD adapters) and takes me like 4-5 hours for 3 of 'em

I'd bet most of yours were on unhacked systems. This guy has a full SD with who knows how much stuff installed on it. The backing up and restoring SD card steps may each take over an hour.

Last edited by regnad,
Okay, so, I used TikDevil and that restored a lot of the games I had on my 3DS but not nearly all of them. Any suggestions on how to recover the rest? Like I said they are on the SD, just not showing up on the home menu.
