It would be funny to see the Nicalis executives studying the purchase rates and seeing it start to spike after Shiny's announcement - they must be scratching their heads and asking round Marketing to find out what campaign they've launched recently which is really working!

They just need to keep making cheap games with xmls disguised as vvvs, preferably with the ability to keep the game playable (looking at you cave story)

Ha, you think this "scene" actually produces enough volume of sales to even be a blip in their sales figures? I'm not asserting that it isn't significant, but I wonder.

preety much most people have super mystery dugeonso this is kinda useless
more exploits, the better. might as well repost this because I feel it's good :)
It's also a good idea to stockpile secondary cart exploits because
1. It covers more users that might already have a game.
2. It brings/keeps down the price of existing hax games.
3. Easier to actually find a hax game at a nearby store.
4. More open source exploits for budding hackers to learn from (so maybe less "prohax" garbage).
mostly it's another open source exploit for new hackers to learn from. and it's a cheap eShop game.

Well I have tried with a friends' 3DS for more than 60+ times ( not even kidding) and no result at all. HAX INIT, HAX INIT, so forth and so forth. Attempting to get that HAX SUCCES since 10AM till 2PM that day

Try running a ftp server (super ftpbrony) before starting the updater. I decided to finally downgrade my older n3ds (formerly my "legit" 3ds) and found that it wouldn't work from oot3dhax until I ran the ftp server, exited back to hbl, then started plaisysupdater. Now it is running just fine on a 9.2/menuhax/luma setup (didn't want to bother with a9lh on it since I can do that later if needed, the one I actually use does have a9lh).

I'm not a wizard, but I'm pretty sure it's not that easy.

It isn't easy to find exploits period but that doesn't matter, either there is an exploit in the game or there isn't. That being said, major titles tend to have higher quality programming and are thus less likely to have exploitable bugs (which is what all the *hax really are) than the smaller indie games. In fact, shovelware is probably the best place to look for exploits since they are usually quickly thrown together without caring about the quality of the code.

Imaginehax anyone? Or perhaps it should be called Horsezhax?

I can't get the HBL to recognize the file. I put the two vhax files in the 3DS folder and it doesn't show up. I put them in their own folder in 3DS and then it shows up in the HBL but when I click on it, it just shows the region unlocker. Tried putting the folder in the root of my SD card next and still nothing. I have the latest starter kit. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm using OoT3D to access the HBL. Is it not supported since I didn't notice it on the site?
Am I missing something stupidly obvious? Heh

EDIT: Can someone please point somethings out that's causing this? Seriously don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Shovelware is more likely to have exploits. But that doesn't mean that Nintendo games won't.
Smash Bros. Brawl and Twilight Princess on Wii had exploits, for example.
But there's still more third party exploits for both systems - Wii has stuff like Yu-Gi-Oh and a ton of LEGO games, while 3DS has/had Cubic Ninja, Ironfall, YouTube, and VVVVVV.

VVVVVV happens to be really great for me. It boots quickly, faster than Ironhax ever did actually, it even has that nice Commodore-esque loading screen.
And since it's a digital title no cartridge swapping is needed, since my PSMD is a physical copy.

So many thanks for this.

Well PSMD boots quicker but yeah, I have to agree with you on that awesome loading screen ^_^
