Oh right, I forgot this shit...
Yeah, try to edit bat files, and change ONLY the name
Why not use systemapp.0000.* in the batch script? If that can't be passed rename it with
ren systemapp.0000.* 0.cxi
And then pass 0.cxi instead.
Or do a file exist check if you prefer that.

all i have are .bin files. When i try to decompress them, it says to save as, and there's no extention base.
so i have to choose what it's name is anddd it's extention..

Note: If you don't see any decrypted files, it's normal. Decrypt9WIP decrypt the game itself. Check the date, it can also be something like 01/01/2000.

One more thing. What should the decrypted home menu files be named when first dumped? Im not sure what on my sd card is the decrypted files.

So the decrypted files should just be " Homemenu.cia "

So what exactly can this do besides change the wording on that screen? I guess what I'm ultimately looking to find out is, are we able to remove the 300 title limit with this?

I seem to be getting errors because of a missing Logo.bcma.LZ.
Code:
3dstool.exe -cvtf cxi SystemApp.0000.00000083 --header NCCH.Header --exh DecryptedExHeader.bin --exefs CustomExeFS.bin --romfs CustomRomFS.bin --logo Logo.bcma.LZ --plain PlainRGN.bin
load: NCCH.Header
load: DecryptedExHeader.bin
ERROR: open file Logo.bcma.LZ failed

load: PlainRGN.bin
load: CustomExeFS.bin
load: CustomRomFS.bin
ERROR: create file failed

MakeRom.exe -f cia -content SystemApp.0000.00000083:0:0x00 -o HomeMenu_Edited.cia

using mstb editor... doing tools>Manage LZ11>Decompress (or Compress) doesn't pop up anything. The Manage UMSBT option from the same menu does... is it just me? (also, 3ds explorer keeps trying to crash whenever I go to open the file. fun.)

If someone with a disassembler wants to edit the decompressed .code.bin (as extracted by step1 it's compressed), maybe...

not that I would want anything close to 300 titles with the crap performance of any 9.0+ home menu!

Yeah, "mstb editor reloaded" is broken for that feature, use the plain "mstb editor" or the compression plugin in 3dsexplorer (not the main program itself, and remember to change compression from lz10 to lz11)!

It's normal, Home doesn't have a bootlogo, but those are more like warnings than errors!

Do you have an x64 system? IIRC at least one of the tools is 64-bit only...

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
