My current A9LH setup:

And for the lulz my boot_config.ini

That way the sans.bin stays for about 2 seconds wating for an input and after that cakes boots and sans_b.bin flashes for about half a secong. I thought it looked cool.

Best bet is Bootanim9 assuming you have a9lh. No sound or menuhax support as of current with BA9. ARN splashes are images dumped into bin files and read as such so I would doubt support for it for a while unless Aurora decides to work on splashes

Its a very involved process that if you would really want it just go thru Plailects guide(And it's not a cfw, more of full control of the system on boot and cfw(Aureinand, Cakes, Mizuki, Reinand) sysnand. In actuality you could have both a boot animation plus a splash if you really want) and if you need help ask elsewhere than this thread, considering this is the Aureinand splash thread.

rx is outdated, try out AuReiNand, seriously, will do just about everything rx does plus extra and regular support.

For the kc fans out there. Kinda rough. Apparently the kc game screen scales down perfectly (800x480 to 400x240) so you could use your homescreen as a splash.
