Someone? Anyone?
Check PMs

Ok everything is fine, but is everything supposed to be in bubbles instead of the regular colored box?
Yes, its meant to be in the bubbles (it was the quick workaround I mentioned before i actually compiled the mod). This weekend when i have some spare time, I'll make the mod with the usual coloured boxes and almost every alt costume.
EDIT: and ROB has been fixed btw, once I get home from school; ill upload the new version.

I see, well good luck and thank you, it wouldn't be possible without hex editing otherwise, I'm looking forward to it!

I dont believe its possible using hex editing... Maybe just a ton more complex but yeah, here's the third version with ROB fixed and ill probably start working on the version for every alternate today, but it may not be ready for a while considering there are around 472 alts in the game by some quick math
EDIT: didnt add the file XD

How does this look to you @Phanton ? Or would you still like the boxes? i just thought this showed more of the character and has every alt already included

Stupid question...

Where in the saltySD directory do I place BGM files? I've tried /bgm, /sound/bgm, and /sound. None seem to be working :(

As a quick question...
When rebuilding the dt/ls files becomes an option, would it be possible to simply merge all the update files with the core game and compile it as a cia and expect it to work? As in fully updated 1.1.5 Smash with only a single installation?

Anybody run into a problem with Ohana3ds when exporting the talk sprites used in Palutena's guidances? (Or any 2d image probably) Like the image is way to large when exported it seems so after editing it the image gets shrunk and looks poor.

I strongly believe it will work, but you never know...
aaand nope :(

putting files in /SaltySD/smash/sound/bgm/whatever.bstcm isn't working, as in it's not applying.
As said expertly by @Manito It does need to be converted to a .nus3bank file, but I thought I'd quickly ask if the song is the same name as the one you want to replace and did you regen the cache, even if you just changed the extension.

This actually looks pretty interesting, like a whole different level of customization of you ask me. I just downloaded the new files and I'll try it out now

Thinking about it, there is a background picture behind the roster, and there is no lines separating the characters. The boxes make it look like that, but taking them out you realize there isn't.
I wonder if that background is replaceable somehow.
I wanted the boxes only because they make it easier to tell apart each character's section, having an image that shows more of the character and allows alts is way better though

Could someone help me ? I'm stuck at this step in the Extraction part.
  • Launch "RomFS Extractor", which is found in the "Update" and "Original" folders. Use this program to extract the data from the ROMFS of the update and original game, by selecting the ROMFS files you have obtained through the tutorials above. Allow the program to fully extract both titles. Make sure they extract to seperate folders.
My problem is that when I extract the RomFS of the Original game, the extraction program is working, but I keep getting only those files :

I tried with at least 3 .cia, all of them gave me this result.

Did you download the pack from the OP?
You just need to do as it says:
  • Copy the files from "DTLS" directly inside this folder (ExtractedROMFS). Hold shift and right click, and open the command prompt. Paste the following inside the prompt: DTLS.exe dt ls
  • Allow the program to extract all the game files. It will take a couple minutes.
After that you should get a data folder which has all teh games files.

Oh, I was extracting the files from "DecryptedExeFS.bin" that's why it didn't work!

Thanks for the help!

You have to unpack the dt and ls files...
