You have to remember that an audio CD can only hold around 700MB.You're too nit picky over small amounts of MB's.

I'm just giving some perspective.And a SD card isn't a CD.

I was talking about how rxTools and AuReiNAND do the same things yet rxTools takes up a whole lot more space on the SDcard because of its tools that have been completely out-matched by Decrypt9 and the shitty pointless GUI used to find/use said tools. One that has nothing to do with anything we talked about. Kind of makes it invalid.

rxTools injection features don't work on anything past the december 12th release and was removed in the latest commit. You're also forgetting the fact that decrypt9 and emunand9 are standard uses for cfw. rxTools comes with injection features etc...
That's part of why it takes up so much space.rxTools comes with injection features etc...
If you have one of those old CRT TVs that have a long back and weigh a tonne, and you were given the option to switch it for a flat screen with the same screen size for no extra money, is the argument "my TV cabinet is gigantic so why switch" really valid? I think the REAL reason is being scared of change (not that there's anything wrong with that - just better to be honest with your own self, even if not with us).Look in reality rxtools itself is only 16mb. It's all the extras from hbloader up to menuhax that brings it up to 193mb. Sure aureinand is 1-2mb's, but why should I feel forced to switch for that? You making everythig seem more than it is in reality and you're just nitpicking over it. Thats 10% of space can be ignored seriously.... You're also forgetting the fact that decrypt9 and emunand9 are standard uses for cfw. rxTools comes with injection features etc... Which aureinand doesn't have, because it's pretty much barebone.
You're trying to claim something is better in the wrong way.

Dude, FBI injection using rxTools is infamously horrible. It fragments the NAND to hell.I've actually used it two days ago to inject fbi into the sysnand of a friend of mine. I also changed his files to Aureinand at the end of it. That I don't want to use it yet doesn't mean anything. I personally like the extra features that it brings outside of the injection. Hobble is just trying to bring in arguments that are completely invalid.
Flat screen of the same size as a crt would give a cropped image. Especially if you're going for the exact same square size. That would actually mean I'd rather stay with a crt.
Updated sysNAND and the loading of ARM9 payloads like Decrypt9 and Uncart at system boot. What is all the A9LH stuff about that I keep seeing that accompanies AuReiNAND, if you don't mind me asking?
OK, let's say you aren't deliberately misunderstanding - how about we change it to you switch your CRT for a TV which uses the same screen but runs off pixie magic so there's no long back and doesn't weigh much.
I was using it as an example of why you should be mindful of size.Nothing to do with what we're talking about.
You can read the intro pages and the FAQ from https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki for details, but the basic idea is you can update your sysNAND and still have CFW, no need for emuNAND. So this means you only have to install GBA and DSi games once. If you brick your console you can recover with Decrypt9, no need for a hardmod. There are also tools for creating emunands and dumping physical game carts and probably other tools too. You can basically use your console as a legit system, AND have all the benefits of CFW. It's the best!Just when I had my rxTools stuff with emuNAND all sorted out, another CFW trumps it? Bah! AuReiNAND basically replaces rxTools? What is all the A9LH stuff about that I keep seeing that accompanies AuReiNAND, if you don't mind me asking?
im starting to think he doesnt understand what an example isI was using it as an example of why you should be mindful of size.
To be honest, it was a pretty dumb example.I was using it as an example of why you should be mindful of size.
