Considering the latest versions removed all the unique features in favor of decrypt9 and still doesn't support Firm0/1 protection. I say ditch for AuReiNAND, it's just not worth the effort to keep around and honestly hasn't shown any real progress for a very long time.
mizuki is a new barebones cfw that is sysnand only, and protects firm0/1

AuReiNAND has region free, twland agb patching, supports of course emunand and a9lh. I'm just waiting for gateway 3ds a9lh payload and the world is perfect, i can get rid of emunand then
does gateway add anything to the a9lh aur setup?

Heard aureinand doesnt tell you if you are on emunand or not though, like how rxtools has "RX" instead of "Ver" before the firmware number in system settings.
That doesn't matter since emunand is obsolete now.

Don't fix what isn't broken applies to this. What I'm read up about ah9l is that there's a possible chance for a brick. If you're used to rxTools why not continue using it? It's simple and it works.

you can use the other cfws without the need to switch to a9l. switching cfw is as easy as deleting the old one and putting the new one on, then updating ur boot manager to point to the new one instead.

A9LH + AuReiNAND is both simple and permanent.

I have no problem with either. People like to switch to the next thing right after it releases. I take my time. As long as rxTools works and keeps working with the next updates I have no problem. If at a point in time it only supports 10.9-32 (for example) and they're already on 11.0-01 or whatever then I'll just make the switch to aureinand. Not like it's hard.

The main reason why I switched from rxTools to AuReiNAND is because the functionality of AuReiNAND and rxTools is the same (signiture patching, region-free, emuNAND) but AuReiNAND takes up much less space on the SDcard.

I use 128gb SDcard. I don't really mind that 200-500mb.

That sort of mentality is that of somebody who has more money than sense, I mean why wouldn't you like to get the most out of your SDcard no matter how big it may be? You do have to remember that 500MB is a half of 1GB.

In general it's gonna take a pretty long time before I get that SD card filled up. It has nothing to do with more money than sense. It's a simple fact. I've only installed like 19gb on games, thats still over 95gb thats left to fill up. Even if I install the majority of the 3ds games (ignoring the full on kid games like cars or barby world) there's little chance that it will be used up. The majority of the games are only 1.4gb. Only a handful of them are actually above that and a lot of games are less than 900mb.

Simple basic math. I'll asume because of this that every game I'll install is 1.5gb on a 128gb you'll have 114gb for use. rxTools full CFW kit is 193mb emunand is 974mb, thats 1.16gb. I'll have 112.84 for use. That's 75 games to install. Now games are mostly less and like I said above only a handful is more. That means I'll be able to install more than 75. But would you download 75 games to install, just because you have the space? No, you won't. The majority of the people won't.
