Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer

Serious question here, not April 1st trolling here: Is FBI considered dead now. there has not been any significant releases since the second of December.
It still has these 2 big issues

1. DLC install issues, especially home menu themes
2. Slow to install stuff

Soon!2 however is faster than FBI but has issues with naming files that will prevent an install without a name change.

I know @Steveice10 was rewriting FBI or opimizing code or something for it, but I have no idea what's happened. He's still around Gbatemp, so he's not dead and eventually I think he will give some official statement on the future of FBI. Tbh, I still prefer the UI of FBI over Soon. While it's simple to use and noob friendly, I like the look of just a black and white theme and I like choosing where to put my cias instead of being forced to put it in one single folder.

I'm using 9.1 firmware(sysNAND) and 9.1 ReiNAND CFW (New 3ds japan)
But when i'm trying to install a cia file i get this error message.
"DESCRIPTION_INVALID_COMMAND"

So what did i do wrong ?

Im sorry but what do you mean by .3dsx or cia ?
I was trying to install fbi.cia via FBI in emuNAND.
I think because i had created emuNAND before tried to install FBI.cia. That's why this error happended.
Should i install FBI.cia into sysNAND first and then create emuNAND ?

Honestly just dont use FBI just install soon! v2 cia its better way better fbi is stupid

FBI isn't stupid, it's just checking to see if it can install the CIA file. What is stupid is if it just goes ahead and installs it because this would leave you with little to no knowledge of why the CIA did not install, which obviously happened to me with NASA. DOI!

FBI isn't stupid, it's just checking to see if it can install the CIA file. What is stupid is if it just goes ahead and installs it because this would leave you with little to no knowledge of why the CIA did not install, which obviously happened to me with NASA. DOI!

Hmm, probably the emuNAND is conflicting with FBI thinking it is on 10.7 which is why you get a invalid argument. Or it thinks that the two are one and thinks that some partitions are all together. I do not know how to fix this, but I'll try and see what is wrong.

That's not the problem, lol
Because i installed Castlevania Lords of Shadows but i can't install Project Mirai DX or any other CIAs.
And i'm sure that the problem is not on the cia because i've downloaded 3 different CIAs of Project Mirai DX

It could be that or it is just that you probably need to install legit CIA's into it (which is probably forcing you to, and a legit CIA is a CIA file that is signed by a company to make it legit).

Please, dont spread false informations, it works fine on 9.0.

Im on 9.0 EU sysnand
- only installed mset 4.5 and DS whitelist for DS flashcard on my sysnand

And emunand is on 9.0 EU
- installed latest tiger, eshop applet, nver and friends module for "spoofing" so that I have acces to eshop, NNID, miiverse, online for games and Pokebank) and for your information, every single .cia and .3dsx file which I tried works just fine on my 9.0 firmware (including homebrews, and I have/had plenty of them).

The banner looks awesome! and the new interface is really good too. This is going to be a really great overhaul of what we used to know as FBI[emoji14]

Yeah, there are some features that don't work as intended, which isn't surprising given that I compiled an unfinished version

I ran a test installing a CIA and this is the result.

Cave Story is the game.

FBI Installation process: 7 minutes 34 seconds.
DevMenu 11.4 process: 7 minutes 46 seconds. The progress bar in FBI looks good

how can i send a file via network?
i broke my sd card reader, and i forgot to install hblauncher..
i have 10.7 a9hl.. and now i don't know how to copy stuff to the sd card..

i thought it was ftp, but filezilla doesn't conntect..

edit: just looked a second time at the first post, i had to use stockpile, a dedicated java program..
worked wonderfully, however i had to disable the prompt on fbi, the first time it showed an error, probably o took a long time to press the accept button

I've got an error when trying to install some games in my new3ds xl with a 64gb micro sd, which is formatted in fat32 with that 32kb something, the thing is i've already installed some of those cia on my 2ds but seems it just randomly chooses which games to install and which don't, example: i tried to install "super mario 3d land" and it didn't work, tried a few more times and nothing happened, then installed mario golf world tour without any trouble, and after tried again with super mario 3d land and it installed perfectly so... don't know what is happening, and i've tried with around 20 cias and just installed 5 of them, the others just seems to fail and the error goes as this:
