That's your problem. The 3DS is incredibly slow when dealing with 128GB cards, even if the card itself is fast. 64 is the sweet spot in terms of speed and space.
Ah okay, thank you.
So I should look which apps i dont need, get a smaller SD and everything should be fine.
Thanks again m8.

I have a 12 sec boot with 128 gig... But once it's booted it's light speed!
What clustersize do you have?
What kind of setup?
A9LH ?
Rei as CFW on sysNAND?
Rei as emuNAND?
And what card do you have?

I am really interested in this, as i would like to have faster boot time ;)
Thanks in advance and kind regards

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Edit: converting one card to 64k now to see if there is an improvement. There doesn't seem to be a downside, aside from having to do another format on a card with a limited amount of writes. Report back in 3hrs

128gb sandisk here.
13-14 second boot.
Emunand.

If it's not a 50% reduction in booting I won't bother formatting.

unlikely you would see it halved tbh, you would probably gain a few seconds though, perhaps get it down to just over 10

full format option in GUI Format (takes a while) with 64k set as cluster size

64gb class 10 with 90-95 read and write is even sweeter:)

My 200gb class 10 blew hard even with N3DS..lol

I use 128gb fat 32 cluster 64k Samsung Evo in aureinand or reinand sysnand my boot time is 8 sec on aureinand with splash screen and 9 sec on reinand with splash screen. 128gb is around 90gb used. Hope this helps. BTW you can buy a 128gb Samsung Evo for 39 dollars in amazon.

Then it's the holy grail.
Edited my tutorial to only use Reinand and by the looks of it that's enough now.

It's region free for .cia titles only.
If you play out of region cartridges it will still pops up an error. (Even it now displays the cartridge game icon instead of blank icon)

@Reisyukaku is you latest commit related to forcing a sysNAND reboot after playing GBA games?

Edit: GBA saving working great. Thanks for adding this to ReiNand. Now AuReiNand is essentially ReiNand with the external payload loader, updatedsysNAND and 2nd emuNAND. I do not use updatedsysNAND or a second emuNAND and I have a custom arm9select build that loads A9LH payloads with the following buttons L,R,a,b,x,y,select, start,up,down, left, right. I have no reason to boot into sysNAND unless I want to install more GBA games which I haven't done in months so since I am not using start button to override emuNAND I can use arm9select with a start.bin payload. This is the setup I have trying to achieve for awhile as with GW set to introduce their A9LH payload I can use L to boot GW, select to load Uncart and start to load Decrypt9WIP. Plenty more buttons to assign other A9LH payloads if I see the need.
