I recently got a DSTWO Supercard Plus and I followed a guide, installed the files from the official site, placed them on the root of a micro sd, placed the Launch.dat on the 3DS SD card and followed the rest of the guide, line for line. When it was setup I continued to go to System setting>other settings>profile>Nintendo DS Profie, but nothing happens. It is supposed to at this point, restart into emunand but mine doesn't restart, it just sits on the DS profile screen. I am using 3ds FW 9.2.

Any help please?

You cannot use Profile Exploit on 9.2
Your console firmware has to be in 4.x
You can install ThemeHax/MenuHax on 9.2

1) You need to tell us what console you're using (O3ds or N3ds) in the first place. N3DS can use MSET on 9.2, when the 4.5 MSET is installed. O3ds requires a different way.
2) If you use GW emulation on a DSTwo+ using ANY GW Launcher.dat above GW_Ultra_3.4.1, you WILL BRICK YOUR 3DS. So there is no using this with a fully upgraded emunand in the first place.

DSTwo+ is an awesome DS Flash cart (albeit a battery hog like no other), but it is pretty much useless for Gateway unless you have no need for online play and eshop/Mii Verse. Buy a Gateway if you want GW functions.

Hi, sorry. Yeah, I am using an O3DS.

I would just ditch this and buy a Gateway instead but I am worried that since the DSTwo+ Gateway doesn't work, neither will the actual Gateway.

Just don't update your console past 9.2 and you will be fine. There are various ways to boot GW.

Don't ditch it. There is no better DS card. Just don't use the Gateway emulation. It seriously WILL brick your 3ds. IIRC, you can't even flash a nand with a hardmod without working some magic with a raspberry Pi first, with a GW brick; it's really nasty.

On 9.2 O3DS, you need to use browserhax or menuhax. I don't recall if the GW.3dsx works with the 3.4.1 launcher.dat though. Not sure why it wouldn't
With matching versions, anyway, I've used the GW.3dsx from both HBL and directly from CTRBootManager. Works fine.

It should work, the GW.3dsx just redirect to Launcher.dat with proper permissions (arm9 execution, etc). As long as the FIRM is 9.0 (ie. console is not partially updated or partially downgraded from higher firmware) it should boot GW from HBL booted from sysNAND or using autoboot ThemeHax/MenuHax.

PS. It goes without saying but DO NOT USE updated Launcher.dat file from GW site, get whatever recommended Launcher.dat you get from the DSTwo+ site.

EDIT: Can't say for sure what code GW.3dsx includes (may also include brick code), so I don't recommend using it as well. Try at your own risk!

Okay, I will re-setup the menuhax as it has been a while since I last knew how to work that and my way of loading it up through rxtools seems to be no longer available. I will see if that works. I am curious though, even if I do set up Menuhax, do I just boot into emunand and it will show (on the menu) my 3DS games that I have loaded onto DSTwo+

Actually, I'm not quite sure how well menuhax works with DSTwo+. You first need to boot into sysnand without menuhax (holding select does the trick, I think?)insert the DSTwo+ and run the GW emulator (which should reboot you back to system menu). If that triggers menuhax, then you should know what to do from there. If it boots directly into sysnand (without triggering menuhax), then you'll need to use browserhax.

Edit: Or, I guess it depends on how you configured menuhax. I stopped using it when a9lh was made public, but I'm pretty sure mine was setup to trigger if I was holding L while booting. If yours is the same way, just be sure to hold L as soon as you click on the GW emulator.

Okay, I got Menuhax up and running. I hold L while clicking the GW icon in the DSTwo+ and it then says "please insert dstwo plus press (b), continue" I click that and it always comes up with a plugin installer. I continue to install, pick my 3ds version, pick region, it then goes through programming and verifying, I press a to continue, it exits to power off screen. I hold down L while I press home to boot into menuhax loader and it takes me to the homebrew launcher. I now have no clue what to do.. I can't see a way to load a game from here.

You need to bypass menuhax to load home menu after the dstwo+ bit. If yours is configured to only trigger while holding L, then don't hold anything on the reboot. Otherwise, grab a newer GW release from their site, grab ONLY THE GW.3DSX file and drop it into sd:/3ds and pray it launches the older 3.4.1 launcher.dat. But... I'm only assuming that it does nothing other than call the launcher.dat (it will be selectable from the homebrew launcher). If the .3dsx has it's own brick code, you WILL BRICK. Seriously, you should forget using Gateway emulation on that card. I've warned you enough though, so I won't feel guilty at all if things go south...

Alright, well for some reason it's not working but I honestly appreciate all the help and advice. I will not ditch the DSTwo+ because of the obvious but I will no doubt pick up and actual Gateway card and see if that is different. Thank you very much.
