ROM Hack [Question] Building .cia for 3ds romhack

Hello everyone!

I made a rom hack called pokemon chaos ruby with hans 2 week ago and now I think it have enough thing to be released (but still in beta). Since I am fairly new with cia (I just have romfs and exeFS) thing, I want to install the rom hack in emuNAND to do testing before releasing (even if it work perfectly with hans). So how I am supposed to build build and where I can share it since I can't give link on gbatemp (because sharing cia is not allowed)

You'll be wasting your time.
You must know, that the original Omega Ruby game is over 2 GB already, building a CIA, which you can't share on most Websites, will only please the very few who have Firmware 9.2 or lower, or a Dev Unit (separate build needed).

Besides, building an Omega Ruby Hack requires you to have Signatures for 9.x (I think?), which is currently only available as a Dev Unit Version, and thus incompatible with Retail Units.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, my piece of information might be outdated.

So, to avoid posting a new thread on this discussion. Any luck figuring out how to create a rom hack as an installable cia? I'm looking to make a rom hack that basically provides all the region exclusive pokemon together into a single so you don't have to go through trading for them. I can use other methods to apply the hack but would just personally like to have a cia so I don't have to take those extra steps. to apply it every time I open the game.

Btw I haven't made the rom hack yet but have some tools and tutorials that I'll need. I have the .3ds of AS uncarted and just want to know how to compile the hack into the game and install as cia.

I'm fairly certain that you have to decompile or get a decompiled game and then replace the files and recompile it? That's what you had to do with neo x/y im pretty sure but im not no expert in this area

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I downloaded a decompiler/recompiler tool that extracts it from/to a .3ds file which is what I uncarted and can convert to cia from there. I'll do more research on it when I get off work.

Also any idea on if one would be able to extract the rom from the BRY VC and inject a romhack of Red I made to catch all the version exclusives while maintaining the trade function? I know there are some issues with injecting crystal due to the VC's patch for the cable function but if BRY are the base used in hack would it work? Again, I can do more research on the topic when I get home, just wondering if anyone has the answer to this already. Not a huge deal as the hack is supposed to replace the need for trading but I am curious as I've wanted to edit the sprites to the more "updated" versions and now my curiosity has spiked as to if it'll work.

I think have a way to do it because basically, I wanted that my rom hack to be available in 3 format:
The romfs thing for hans, sadly no online play (but I might try to implement patch in the romfs)
The Cia Version so it can be installed on home menu (but I need an icon)
The patch version (the prebuild 1.4 Patch with the extra content added)

But for now, I alpha tester for rom hack, I didn't start main story rewrite because I want to make it aivalaible in at least 3 language (French (Native Lang), English and spanish (wich I don't know at all)

that what I will do ^^ there will be crap ton of version of the romhack (small UI change for exemple) I think I will need more than 1 google drive account XD (Red UI, Blue UI (Vanilla), Green UI, Yellow UI) so at least 4 version
