I mean, the NX will be out by the end of 2016 and the Wii U is almost dead... So who is really still waiting for a real Wii U hack here ?

Just cause a console is dead doesn't mean the homebrew must be dead. A homebrew community can only die IF it has: A linux port, a few emulators, rom loaders, a cfw, and a (at least) one pong clone. I'm waiting still

Look the Wii, if I remember correctly...
I hacked it at 2010 (4 years after his release) so you should be positive!
Because IOSU probably can be released on this year!

Linux Port = There is a vWii linux port that takes control of some of the Wii U
A few emulators = DS injection, a userland NES emulator, GBA injection.. good enough
Rom Loaders = Loadiine and all of the mods of it
Pong Clone = We have those too

The linux port should not count if it is vwii. Also Where is a cfw?

It's simple. Stop acting entitled, like many others have said before. If you're genuinely interested in the homebrew scene, then start looking into it yourself instead of whining about what others have or haven't released.

If you have zero interest in making the investment that others have to make the homebrew scene enjoyable to begin with, then you have no standing to complain about anything at all; you can get in, or get out.

I don't want to sound like a complete noob lol, but there was some eshop maintainence that took place earlier today. Does this mean we'll be seeing a new update sometime soon? Because iirc, there has been quite a few nintendo updates in the past after an eshop maintainence.
