Hi GBATEMP!
I bought a Nintendo 2DS today that came with system version 9.2.0-20E , so I decided to grab as well a 32 gb microsd and an adaptor.
So, when I set up the files in the SD Card(ninjhax and emunand9) and launched emunand9 via ninjhax, it all worked normally so I started dumping SysNAND to SD.
But at 20% of the dumping it stopped saying: " Creating NAND.bin" and down it says: "ERROR, SD Card may be full!".
I tried formatting to FAT32, FAT with the cluster to 32 kilobytes and all the files of EmuNAND9 are on the root of the SD Card.
Can someone help me?
Thanks!
I attached a picture of the error...

Did you get the SD card from a store or did you order it online?
If you got it online chances are you have a fake SD card.

i bought it from a store.
it is from PNY brand, model 0027B 32 GB Class 10 UHS-1

i have a PNY sd card and it works good, chances are it was a user error, just try again
i tried over 3 times and keeps me giving this error?
what do I have to put on my sd card?
how do I boot up correctly?
I mean, I think I might be doing this right but I'm not sure when it's failing

Use your existing card to boot up Emunand9 in your 3DS

Choose the option to format the SD card. When given the option to swap SD cards, put the new SD card in and let it perform the format, then see if you can get the card to work for 3DS stuff after that.

Put the SD card into a card reader on your computer, open "Disk Management" in Windows (Win+X opens a context menu containing it on Windows 8 and 10), delete any partitions on the SD card (make sure it's the SD card, obviously), and use SD Formatter to format the card.

but will I format the 32 GB card or the 4 GB one?

also the 4 GB card that came with the 3DS works perfectly fine with emunand9

The 32GB one.

what size should the cluster be?

Last edited by Xenosaiga,
Take the SD card back to the store and tell them it's not working and that you want to swap it out.

Alternatively:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-transfer-emunand-to-another-sd-card-working-on-new3ds.383684/

And yes this guide is for any 3ds. It just states that it 'also' works on N3ds.
ok definetively a faulty card as it's giving trouble on the PC itself.
Going to return it tommorow and buy a kingston microsd instead.
What's your recomendations for emunand?

What cluster sign and format should I assign this type of card. Also if I plot in buying a 64 GB micro wich brand should I choose?
Format it to fat32 with 32kb clusters. You will need a program to do such as most computers do not do this natively.

And as for brands it's really up to what you wanna get.
