Hi all,
I haven't taken the AL9H plunge so I'm running the traditional 9.2 SysNAND with a 10.6 EmuNAND via ReiNAND.
Before performing the downgrade and following steps a few months ago, I did a full backup of my SD Card, which included 'backups' (via the native 3DS functionality) of most of my games.
While performing the downgrade operation, I formatted my SysNAND before creating my EmuNAND, thinking I could just restore my game saves if I wanted to but I'm realizing now that I probably can't use them because they would have been encrypted under the key from before I formatted.
Now that MHGen has been announced for NA, it would be nice to have my old MH4U save back so I'm wondering if there's any process I could follow to make that old save usable again. Would there be any way to brute force the encryption or some such? Keep in mind I have no idea what I'm talking about so be kind if it's a dumb question.
