Its not their hardware, just the code is unoptimized as the devs are aiming for accuracy first. Running and playing on an interpreter is not really ideal too.

I never said it was their hardware. I'm also aware how the program works, mostly.

Im lucky because I have G3258 Overclocked to 4.2 GHZ and I get amazing frame rates with it.

I still get the max amount of frames possible at the moment. No game runs fullspeed (though some come close), regardless of your hardware.

The JIT build. One merrymaged was working on.
Here's the thing without using the Citra QT. exe for scaled resolution I get Great Framerates (above 40 in OOT above 25 in Super Monkey Ball)
After I cant even boot up OOT and Super Monkey Ball runs at .7 fps (No really)

You can have a home menu if you dump nand and stuff, still have no idea how to get that working though i've seen the devs boot it.
I have a nand dump, but from what I've heard the Home Menu works like an app and is not contained in the nand dumps. Speaking of which, do you know where to put the nand dump on the OSX build? I already have it set up on my Windows machine, but I'm trying to get to get the Mac build going now.

I've figured out why it's not working. nand uses .apps extension, citra uses a .romfs extension. Have to change it, and maybe use the romfs.bin instead.

Location of the menu
\user\nand\00000000000000000000000000000000\title\00040030\00008f02\content"

Note the structure is based off the titleID.

All system apps have both a rom and app format. Some apps are necessary to have in order to get them running.

So, what do you need to do to get the Home Menu running?

No idea, maybe it's simple as booting the rom. But i can't get the rom working.
Funny thing is I don't have that directory. I have this.

Those are mii data. BTW the home folder actually might work if an old version but i cannot get it to convert from cia to 3ds as the converter cannot read exheader
So is my nand incomplete? Without what I have, most roms won't boot at all.

I'm sure all roms would work fine without a full nand dump.
Well, last time I tried without a nand dump of any kind was around at least four months ago. If not more. Maybe Citra has advanced enough now to run games without the nand dump.

I also have this in my nand.
\user\nand\data\00000000000000000000000000000000\extdata\00000000\F000000B\user\CFL_DB.dat

\user\nand\data\00000000000000000000000000000000\sysdata\00010017\00000000\config

Can you tell me what these are?

Last edited by Kumoashi,
I know I'm being a fag and repeating myself but I'm using the Scaled Resolution build and Even with it turned off many games (Like OOT and Any Mario Game) becomes unbootable and the 1 or 2 that do work run a UNDER 1 fps.

why repeat what i said are you bored...?

newest from the master branch as of today

Citra Git Changelog:
* Merge pull request #1441 from MerryMage/dsp-pipes
AudioCore: Implement Pipe 2
* DSP: Implement Pipe 2

application signals to the DSP to initialize) and the application (the DSP
provides the memory location of structures in the shared memory region).
* Merge pull request #1467 from LittleWhite-tb/bug-shader-object
Set the appropriate locale to get float conversion working using to_string
* Set the appropriate locale to get float conversion working using std::to_string

why repeat Its on www.emucr.com, are you bored...??

I hate stupid people they just want to cause trouble for the sake of trouble it's sad anyway only a few parts are slow now in the game like the market place and any place with lots of people or poly gone it goes down to 40s

Oh no
half of the Cemu regulars are here..

Hi Guys

I hope citra will support cia files soon.
Well. It's better if you just convert it to .3ds via Converter.
But the problem is...
Is the .cia file encrypted and retail?
If it's decrypted, you won't have problems. Same as .3ds.

But hey, I discovered this thread before Cemu was even revealed and ends up creating an account few months later.
