I am curious if they fixed the skill to cost bug with Avatar (Corrin?) Logbook… in Awaking, learning all the legit skills for your MU made it stupid expensive. This has to be the case, the core engine has been massively improved over awakening with tons of sanity checks.
For example, in Awakening, I could easily add any unit anywhere on any story map whenever I wanted, I just took the unit spawn data file, looked for the data block for the enemy team, stuck my character inside the enemy team block, and from within the enemy team made them a player unit.
In Fates, this is not possible, before spawning the unit, it checks that the unit's team matches the team value for the block it is located, which means you have to basically rebuild the entire unit data file just to add a single player unit, because you'd have to entirely move all of the blocks after the player units block just to add another unit, which means you have to add new pointers while also repointing anything you moved.
Another thing is the child lock for gay marriage, since this wasn't a thing in Awakening, the game simply checked "Is X unit married? If so > unlock child paralogue", in Fates, it now also compared both unit's genders, "Is X unit married? If so > Is X unit married to a unit of opposite sex? If so > unlock child paralogue".
Two lv 20 Grandmaster FeMUs, with the 4 Tac\GM skills, and capped stats with limit breaker. 1 has only that, the other had learned Bond, Paragon, and every other skill it could without cheating.
The latter was much, much more expensive… I bought it on another file, and planned to change to better skills… oh, wait… it only has the five equiped skills… it's just as useless as the other, much cheaper, variant…
