Hi guys,

I did something rather stupid yesterday evening. I grabbed the latest version of sysupdater and downloaded the 9.2 full firmware pack (n3ds) from that mega thread on that iso site. I updated ninjhax from 1.1 to 2.6 via smealums official site. I followed a tutorial on here on how to update or downgrade your console. I created the update folder within my SD root path. Then continued onto booting into 2.6 via Cubic Ninja. I made sure I was on sysnand. Then went ahead and fired up Sysupdater via HBL 2.6. I selected update, Sysupdater installed the 9.2 update.cia's that I placed in the update folder. Right before Sysupdated finished installing the update, I noticed it updated my NATIV_FIRM. Upon finishing, Sysupdater promted that it would reboot my N3DS XL within 10 seconds. All the .cia's installed without failure by the way. Anyway, upon automatically rebooting, my N3DS is now stuck with a solid blue light and both screens are black. I've removed my SD card, as well as deleted the sugguested folders from the Nintendo 3ds folder on my SD card. I've also removed my battery then attempted to power back on. I've also attempted to boot into recovery via L-R-A-UP(dpad) then hold while powering. Still no sign of life. My question is, is my console hard bricked? If so, I will go ahead and install the hard mod with 30awg wires along with a jst plug ext. I currently have 4 backups of my stock nand which I backed up via GW before I even started this CFW game. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Edit - Yes, I was on 9.0.0-20E with Reinand plus my GW cart. From what I seen on reddit and a few other forums. 9.2.0-20E improved stability throughout the entire system. That's why I attempted to update my Sysnand.

Sorry sir, you have a brick. You have done all the de-bugging steps. You probably got the wrong files for your region. Did you turn off the device at any time?

I would hardmod or get a new 3ds (which is much more fun :P) Sorry that your first post was about a brick XD. I hope you enjoy the forum and find more information about emuNAND and downgrading in general. Soon downgrading will (probably) get easier, so sit back and relax (while hardmodding) and watch as the forum increasingly gets more members and more "Help" threads pop up. XD It's just a loop. Hope that the forum teaches and treats you well. :yay:

I downloaded the E region which I assumed would of been Europe. I followed everthing dow to the letter. I watched Sysupdater install all the .cia's without fail. Sysupdater showed all the signs of a successful update. It was only after the automatic reboot that I started encountering problems. Ah well, hard mod is it. To be fair, it's probably wise to have a hard mod with all the latest findings within the scene just lately. Thanks for replying.

Edit - No, I let Sysupdater take care of the rebooting of the console.

No prob also I am an emuNAND And sysNAND expert, but I know NOTHING about hardmodding after this you're gonna be kinda alone, (Sorry in advance). If you ask any other questions I would ask in the "Ask!" Or post on this thread. Don't make a new thread (please). If it gets kinda old just "Bump" it. Hope I helped!
