or simpy don't set screen enabled to anything different than 0, because for aureinand there is no need to enable the display, that would help to, but I have set the flag since I started using aureinand with a9lh, just to be sure xD
AuRei has code to detect even if screen is init'd.
I'm just not sure that chainloading it like this (or even stranger, chaining ReiNand.dat instead of its a9lh.bin) would keep that detection working.

Plus, it's 10 seconds to make a blank file and name it that, better safe than sorry.

Cheers to @Supster131 for posting this in #cakey IRC

EDIT: a9lh users only
EDIT2: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

This is a early port of Decrypt9WIP that will work in conjunction with @RednaxelaNnamtra 's port of bootctr.

Add a entry in your boot_config.ini and hold A on boot to load.

Code:
[KEY_A]
path = /Decrypt9WIP.bin
screenEnabled = 1
delay = 100
offset = 0
payload = -1
Time to say "Good bye" to emunand?

eve though aureinand 3.6 is already set up for when screen init is implemented.

That's... what I said.
"AuRei has code to detect even if screen is init'd."

This isn't normal A9LH, it's a bootloader and I just wouldn't try it without doing the manual flag for safety as it might change something. That's all.

the bootloader works fine for me since I'm using aureinand atm.

I have some nostalgia from Wii Scene days, sorry...
Don't be sorry. I'm actually curious. I just feel it's a better option to keep emunand around. The only drawback is the whole gba cia thing.. Xx

I need to boot up my wii.. Xx

No source right now. He just cooked one and passed it out on irc recently. I'm not sure when you can expect any source.
ask dark samus where the source is as he's the one who helped supster make this D9.bin
Yeah, I only did what he told me :P Simply changed the bootstrap framebuffers to the gateway ones in the draw.h file.

Yes, good bye emuNAND. I already deleted mine, now I have my 2GB back :P

Yeah, better safe than sorry I guess. It's a nice solution until we can screen init integrated to A9LH.

Another (slight) drawback is you're loading your entire OS and your games from the SD card. It's (slightly) slower than loading from two separate places, as per what's normally done with sysnand - that being said, it's not a significant enough amount of a difference for most people to even notice, let alone care. EDIT: Also the whole 1-2gb or so of space chewed up on your SD card...

Booting straight into emunand compared to Menuhax loading. Xx I'm okay with that.

Holy crud I missed out on the entire Arm9loaderhax development, it seems! What is there to catch up on? :^0

Where did you last leave off?

The current timeline of events is something like this:
  1. Discussion of its theory a while back
  2. More details began to leak on how to do it
  3. ARM9LoaderHax repo showed up on Delebile's Github
  4. OTP guide came out, including how to downgrade, people began using A9LH
  5. No screen init, so no boot menus were possible, for a week or so
  6. Screen init happened, but no backlights
  7. Backlights happened
  8. Decrypt9 is partially working (it can't do the crypto stuff yet from what I understand)

If you want more details than that, you'll probably need to start reading, there's too much to cover.
