Hi there.

I've got a little problem here. Recently I downgraded my o3DS to 9.2 and I am using emuNAND to emulate 10.5.0. With that, I installed a game using CIAs (The legend of Zelda: Tri force heroes). The game works, but if I try to get online it asks me for an update on the game, for which the eShop wants me to update the 3ds. Is the eShop detecting the real FW of the 3ds or it's a bug...?
Anyone can help me on this, please?

First you need to update your emunand to 10.6 as it just came out. Second you may need to get a cia update for the game. I' 99% sure it will be on that iso site. then just install the cia update using any cia installer other then fbi.

you can update your emunand to 10.6 to get into eShop or search it on "that iso site"

If by "that ISO site" you mean what I think, I tried several times downloading things there but they didn't work. The 2-3 games that worked for me were from other places. But I'll try again there. I'll keep you posted.

Boot Emunand->System settings->Other settings->System update.

Yes but it only takes roughly 10 min to download every single free DLC/Update/App you can from the eShop anyways

Downloading is quick but to reinstall all my cia paid dlc and paid theme cia, then delete the extra themes as I can only have 100 takes a while.
Is their an app to download the game updates in cia format, kinda like the Wiiu has nusgrabber for updates?

I don't think you can download updates from the eShop for illegitimate CIAs. You'd have to get the update CIA manually.

For retail games (including more or less official CIA conversions) there is a separate update you can download without ever having inserted that game in your console (how would the son of your plumber's cousin loan you his 2nd copy of SSB4 and smash with you without waiting 10 minutes to download the update on your console, otherwise?)

Digital-only software is usually updated by re-releasing, and then you can't update from the eShop if you don't have a valid license (as you could see by the requests for the current Youtube 1.2 on the downloads site!)

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
