Edit: haven't tried, but files without an extension can exist with a directory with the same name in the same location the PC, right?

So if someone does that and have any 3ds file and directory named the same name, and then runs this program, how will the program handle that?
That's not possible in FAT (your PC most likely has NTFS), so that won't happen :)

@Madridi (and everyone else requesting this): I just did a minor update that will now allow overwriting files when copying / moving / generating dummy files. Check the opening post!
Just tested it out, worked great!

Question though: When I paste a file to that new directory, it tells me that it exists, overwrite? This is expected
After that, another msg comes up "Overwrite all existing files?".. What does this do?

Also, one more minor enhancement I have in mind (It's a preference really):
Is it possible that when something is copied and pasted somewhere else, it stays in the clipboard (copied)?
This is useful for when you are trying to copy something to more than one location. We can always press select to clear the clipboard manually :)

Thanks again for adding the overwrite feature :D

If you answer yes to that second prompt, you won't be asked for the next files - everything will be overwritten. That prompt is unnecessary when only one file is copied / moved, though, so I guess I shouldn't display it in that case.

Keeping files in clipboard: I'll think about it alright?

Ah ok I figured as much. So I was surprise to see it appearing when copying one file. A minor thing I guess.

About the clipboard, sure think about it :)
The way I am thinking about it is that when you are copying multiple files to multiple directories, that way it is right now, you would have to pick them all every time. It's just easier having it in the clipboard, and just clearing that whenever a person is done.

Anyway, it's a preference I guess :)

Thanks! :D

Could you supply a Brahma .bin build?
Brahma is for ARM9 payloads. CTRXplorer is a standard userland application which uses ctrulib and citrus - both of which are not fully available on ARM9... So, CTRXplorer is not available as ARM9 payload and most likely will never be. I wish it was, but for different reasons than you, I guess (mainly more access to different stuff).

Why would you want CTRXplorer as ARM9 payload?

How do you think I load Brahma II?
Ah, I understand... Well my solution for that is using CTR Boot Manager -> Mashers Grid Launcher Autoboot plus BrahmaLoader XML method for payloads (might want to take a look at my extended homebrew starter pack for the latter two).

The thing is is that I've stopped using any kind of GUI based homebrew/.3dsx launcher so as to spend the least amount of time in sysNAND as possible.

If you want to skip the GUI altogether, you really need to add anotehr key for either booting CTRXplorer directly or the Homebrew Launcher.

I realise this and have also realised that I would get more use out of it if I installed the .cia onto emuNAND.
