I was using it via CIA got 2 partial downgrades before it finished

I thought he might be meaning about reports of it giving the CIA error not found. CIA install seems to at least start first time, but yeah as you pointed out it can do partial downgrades!

Apparently i'm banned. Was going to ask where to get the python 2.7 w/ the pycrypto since I can't find it. Once I get that then I'm ready to compile.
Its because profi range banned webchat, you can get back in with a normal irc client.

Install Python 2.7, download the latest pycrypto, run "python setup.py build" then "python setup.py install".

Well, I just downloaded the 2.1 package from Plailect's guide and ran sysUpdater 0.4.2b as a .CIA on sysNAND through miniPasta, switched the console back on after ejecting the SD card, put it back in when while inside the browser, performed the OTP dump, upgraded to 6.1, ran Decrypt9 from the browser and restored my NAND backup.
Dang that's what I've done 10+ freaking times for my 2DS and it's worked none of the times. Amazing how I haven't been bricked at this point. *sigh* Glad you got it working though.

i have littereally compiled about 4-5 times arm9loaderhax for 4-5 different people....

Aww dude, you know I'm totally going to PM you now given that I've spent hours trying to learn how to compile :rofl2: If you have time, thanks a bunch.

Thanks to @capito27 for helping. Really hope he doesn't get flooded
