Hacking Need help switching to a bigger SD card.

So today I got my 64gb SD in the mail and I was trying to copy over all the files from my old one. (Got a n3DS downgraded to 9.2 and set up ReiNand, if that matters and my OS is Win10)
By following this:

But whenever I try expanding the partition (Step 8) I get an Error Message:

I think this has to do with my old card being fat16. So when I create a backup of my old SD card and transfer it on my new 64gb SD, it turns the new one into a fat16 too. (Tried it on another computer, same result)

Is there any way to get past the error or any other method on how to upgrade to my new SD?
I'm really lost right now.

The pictures show the process in order until I get the error message.

That's what I'm using, I create a backup with Usb Image Tool from my old SD (which is a fat16), then I restore it on my new 64gb SD (which turns it into a fat16 too.) after that I run easeUS so I can expand the partition. (which should turn it into a fat32) and I recieve the error message.

1. create emunand on new card with gateway launcher.dat
2. use emunand tool to extract emunand from your old card
3. copy all contents from your old card to computer
4. use emunand tool to inject emunand.bin (from 2.) into your new card
5. copy all contents from computer to new card.

done.

Sorry but what's gateway launcher.dat? I'm really new to this, you'd have to explain like I'm 5yo. :/

you can follow instruction to setup on http://www.gateway-3ds.com/ and stop after finished making emunand step. all we need is a working emunand partition on your new card so it will work along with emunand tool.
