Has anyone been compiling the custom textures made by everyone so far in some place?

It'd be nice to have a big directory of all the custom .tex files and skins.
 
Yes. This will prevent the long loading times and avoid desyncs with players and local battles. The speed isn't 100%, but much better than before. Perhaps a New 3DS would have little to no trouble?

Definitely works great! I'd say it's almost back to perfect everywhere except for loading a match still. Using a N3DS. Thanks!

Be sure to open the "Command Line.txt" file to copy what's typed. You can do it manually, but I decided to save you a few seconds. Follow the method I posted above and you should be golden.
The edits worked, but now when I tried to load up training mode I got an error and the console restarted.

Does the generated cache file stay in the folder it was created in, or should it be moved to the root of my SD.

To clarify, the cache file was generated in SaltySD/Smash, do I move it from there?

That's odd, could it be a mod you've done before editing? Could be a random crash. Try again

No need. It's fine where it is. That Cache file will avoid the 3DS looking through the entire sd card for the files.

My local battles still desync no matter if ive got a cache or not, do local battles work for anyone else?
 
oh sorry if i was unclear, i was meaning connecting your 2, 3 or even more 3dses that you own to one another. or are friends required to not be desynced?

I'll test it at my earliest convenience and report back with my findings.
 
Does anyone know any way I can load up all of Ganon's textures in Ohana? He has 17 different textures thanks to his armor and chest glow and I can only load 8 of them when following the OP.
I want to import the Pink Ganon texture I made a while back for Brawl.

Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize that clicking export all would properly export all the textures. That should really be added to the OP.

That's really cool! What program did you use to make it?
 
the cachegen.py doesn't work for me. I installed smash, and as soon as it gets past the "niitnendo 3ds" loading screen, it says an error has occured and restarts :C
 
i would post a link for this sonic.exe texture I made but it needs a little adjustment before i can put it up for download, or should I upload it now for people to use?

Would he have his moveset from his final smash?
No as it only swaps warios model with wario man's.
To give wario his final smash moveset I would have to add all the code for his final smash when he attacks and stuff.
I would do it myself but I don't know what file to open in sm4shcommand as all the files I open keep giving me a error.
