I haven't seen anything decent on Humble Bundle for a while.

But there it is.

Pay $1 for:
Code:
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
Grow Home
Rayman Origins

Pay more than average $8 for:
Code:
Far Cry 3
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist
Assassins Creed Chronicles China
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon

And much more..

The Below Average is pretty solid for Grow Home and Call of Juarez on Steam alone.

Average is the cheapest you can get Blacklist...if you want to put up with Uplay. But since, during a good sale, you can get most of those games together for pretty cheap anyway, I'd only really see it as worth it if you wanted AssCreed Rogue. Or possibly The Crew, which also gets pretty cheap.

Or, of course, if you just want your money to go to a good place.

Bought it and don't see much of an issue with this not being on Steam. Uplay and Origin have come a long way since their introduction, just like Steam (the horror that was Steam when HL2 released..). AC Rogue for example works via the Steam Link just as it would with the Steam version. This also means one less client running at a time if people have a problem with that. Qui a few historical lows can be had with this bundle.

Agreed with @machomuu that the $1 tier is a no brainer for any of the three games (I had CoJ on my wishlist already) with BTA price being somewhat a case of whether you like AC Rogue and The Crew or not. The original BTA was closer to $5 or something so the additional cost of the $15 tier was a whole lot more.

I take it you missed the square enix bundle that had murdered: soul suspect, just cause 1&2, FF 14 and at least three tomb raiders (anniversary, legend and underworld) ? Or the capcom one with lost planet, DmC, resident evil 5, remember me and strider?
(I can name more, but these are the only decent recent bundles with well-known games...except for the humble monthlies)

Anyway...it's a good bundle. I gotta admit I either already had all the average games of the bundle so I didn't match it.

@machomuu: no offense, but that "if you can put up with uplay" is getting old. It may have been different in earlier iterations, and I can see how gamers fear a future where every company builds their own little platform you have to sign into...but once set up it really shouldn't bother you. It's not like anyone says they have to "put up with steam" nowadays, right?

Clearly you can put up with uplay. It's not been universally accepted, so people will continue to bring it up in situations such as this as it is still quite relevant.

There's some good games there. None of them are DRM free, though. That probably won't bug most people, but I do miss the bundles requiring them to be DRM free.

Pretty awful bundle. Far Cry 3 is alright, though I wouldn't pay for it. I've wanted AC China buut meh. Not worth getting the bundle for.

Haven't bought a bundle in ages. Though I think I grabbed the Squeenix bundle. I think. Whatever had yosumin in. Awesome game.

Personally I like Far Cry 3 a whole lot. Even though it's not quite as fun as Far Cry 1 I still like it a whole lot more than Far Cry 4 which I never bothered finishing.

Okay...I get that tastes differ, but seeing how most of the offered games have metacritic ratings in the 80's or 90's, I think we can safely say that the individual games measured against their kind of games (e.g. Rayman origins is one of the best platformers ever made), are at least worthy of interest.

The squeenix bundle had yosumin in it, yes. I bought it for gyromancer, but I have to admit it didn't turn out to be near as good as puzzle quest.

Worth $1 to me. Don't see what's interesting in Assassin's Creed or Tom Clancy games. And got way too many FPSs already... As for putting up with Uplay, Steam, and DRM, yea for Linux users that is actually a big deal. Any sort of DRM is yet another obstacle for the (mostly) Windows-only games--turns out Grow Home actually has a Linux port. Add to that the potential tweaking of WINE to get a game to work, and Steam/Uplay/Origin can be a royal pain*. It doesn't help that Origin (still?) needs a patch to get internet/downloading to work, Uplay crashes a lot, Steam (still?) is buggy and general blah as a client in a whole list of ways**.... The point is, ....what was the point again? :)

* Getting the right set of native vs non-native libraries, setting the right registry settings in WINE, using the right version of WINE, setting the right version of Windows WINE reports... And still a pretty bad success rate with buggy behavior. Not that I'm blaming Steam/Uplay/Origin directly for that but the very nature of every WINE bottle is a different system, oh noes it looks like you're trying to pirate because you've got 50 games and want 50 different bottles--most just symlink copies but some with tweaks--just to make it easier on yourself to get a game working once and to not fiddle with it any more... Basically, it turns what would be a somewhat annoying task of tweaking into a painful hurdle that basically guarantees it's not worth the effort to try to get all 50 games working.

** Funny thing, Steam on Linux is actually buggier for me now (something to do with the latest Nvidia driver). In any case, the whole system of categorizing is messy at best, the fonts are too small, there's generally too little ability to customize, Store pages themselves are messy, etc. Really makes me wonder who designed the UI.

If someone didn't already have them, and DRM isn't their concern, I'd think Rayman Origins and Blood Dragon would make it worth the $8. Sure, it's not as valuable as previous bundles, but that's still two good games for only $4 a piece, depending on your taste.
