yes i think so bud, just cant remember which the one was, looking through the lists now
With BBM, it's very easy to see which ones are installed to NAND.
There's the Browser (Media: CTR NAND - don't touch that one) and the stuff you installed to nand.
The rest are cia's installed to SD (Media: SDMC) (check last line on top screen)

I just noticed now that nand ones are flagged as RED (i'm a bit color-blind, so I never noticed until now)

@Pacman`

I got rid of one of the black squares, which was DevMenu installed to NAND, just can't find the other in the list :(
If you find nothing obvious, you'll have to look for a system title from the wrong region (again, in NAND). Usually, it really is something other than that though...

For anyone interested i managed to find my 2 black boxes, through a little trial and error

The first one I already mentioned above which was apache thunder's special Dev Menu which was in my original sysNAND and got carried across when i separated the nand's

The second one, i really had to hunt hard, it was f0007 CTR-N-UDTR sysupdater, no idea why it was producing a black box as i can never remember installing that in sysNAND at any point, but there were multiple instances of it in BBM

Both the above removed and now both black boxes gone too

rxTools working fine on N3DS

all DSiware and NDS stuff uses TWL_FIRM, period. It's basically a DSi firmware modified to run on the 3DS hardware.

The latest patches got rid of some save hax checks and signature checks. So, for example, If you know how to inject other DS roms into DSiware, and you happen to have a hacked DS rom, you should now be able to play with the hacked/homebrew rom injected because of these patches. :P
Thanx for the info.

I tried latest commit (55d2622).
For those who are curious about playing DS on your N3DS emunand -> it still gives a blackscreen.

As for the Data Installation info on top screen, this time it displayed properly on my N3DS and the install was VERY fast.

Thank you devs for your efforts.

Hey so what's the data that the RxTools installation suite makes in your sd card(aka data folder in RxTools directory) and I mean what exact files are supposed to be in this folder and what files are supposed to be generated? I just want to make sure I have all the required files

I don't want to be a smartass, but if you actually READ the readme's and stuff you would know :ha:
You still need to copy the proper firm folder (O3DS and N3DS have different ones) to rxTools folder and IF you have a N3DS, you need those 2 key_blabla.bin files in the root of your msd card.

As far as I know the N3DS still doesn't have full region free so you have to use FMP.
i can confirm this. you can see titles but you still have to use FMP/RFP. since n3DS rxTools isn't even region free, just stick to reinand.

Did you rename it? What did you do exactly?
First time when I copied the new rxtools and the new boot.3dsx, I booted it with menuhax but like you I had the same problem. But I tried it a couple of times and it loaded onto the installation data suite screen. After the installation data suite completed I haven't had any problems loading rxtools through menuhax.

I did the installation but it still doesn't work...
