At the moment it makes absolutely no sense to use rxTools over Reinand. It's more complicated to setup, while having less features. Don't know what this is about.

Reinand supports GBA on emuNAND without having to install it on sysNAND?

I'm still using an older build in which I have DS support on emuNAND. I'm probably not changing until the final rxTools 3.0 comes out.

For those who updated a North American N3DS' emuNAND, ending up having duplicate titles, and don't know how to get rid of them (or do a few simple searches ), I guess posting this could help.
Just go into Delete Mode with FBI, change your Destination from 'SD' to 'NAND', and delete the following ID's:

Nintendo 3DS Camera: CTR-N-HEPP
Download Play: CTR-N-HDLP
eShop: CTR-N-HGRP
Health & Safety: CTR-N-HACP
System Settings: CTR-N-HASP

BE SURE TO KEEP THESE TITLE ID'S, DO NOT DELETE THEM! PAY ATTENTION TO THE LAST LETTER!
E - USA (do not delete these)
P - EUR (duplicates)
Nintendo 3DS Camera: CTR-N-HEPE
Download Play: CTR-N-HDLE
eShop: CTR-N-HGRE

So it gets stuck on the "Installing Data Suit" screen on my N3DS
It works great on my O3DS (Clean rxTools install)

So i have to ask
Can i use the data suit from O3DS on N3DS?
(To be honest io doubt it cause the data suit is only the 3 firm *.bin files decrypted/encrypted on O3DS)

But i fixed the hanging on rxTools installing Data Suit on N3DS
Instead of using code.bin to boot it in ctrBootManager i got to the file browser from ctrBootManager and browsed to \3ds\rxTools\rxTools.3dsx and added rxTools.3dsx to the boot menu, then booted it, it installed data suit in a few seconds and booted rxTools on N3DS. After that you can just boot again by using the code.bin entry to boot rxTools on N3DS

I haven't finished the tutorial part yet, but if you know what you're doing, I'm uploading the files for the "From (Current firmware version>1.4) to a complete rxtools 3.0 emunand" guide later. So, like I said, if you know what you're doing, and know what stuff does, then, i guess go for it. There will be a little "quiz" for how to get the link though, because, well, I'm not allowed to directly link it. So, look forward to that... i guess.

It hasn't been released yet, so nobody knows for sure.

Someone suggested it will be an "advanced file manager", whatever that means. Just further proof that rxTools has become redundant IMO.

If you want a file manager use @d0k3's CTRXplorer, it's excellent.

for n3DS, is it only the key_0x1B.bin and key_0x16.bin files that are needed? do you still need the slot0x25keyx.bin? also is the CETK file still needed?

Ha... no, that's line 110 right now. Why would I say to restore what's already there? You need to add back the OLD line 110:

aes_decrypt(hdr->ext.s.keyX_0x16, key, NULL, 1, AES_ECB_DECRYPT_MODE);

(it goes after the line that you stated)

Wich Firmware.bin did you use? i get the same error and trying your way gaves me a blackscreen.
I Used the Cakes FW with the MD5 Hash: B99ADF0ADB279712367C06EB83BA9AE6 that you can find on the cakes for everywan pastebin.
