Hey guys! First update for a while Beta 134 is now available in the online updater, and adds the following:

• App banners now display on top of water
  
• wallpapertopinfo.png is now displayed if a full screen banner is currently showing

I'll also respond to some of the issues and suggestions posted recently to which I have not yet responded:

• @Ryuka: ctrulib doesn't seem to have any functions to access the current firmware version, so I don't think it's possible for this to be displayed in the launcher
• @Mauste: This has already been logged as an issue on GitHub and will be investigated
• @D34DL1N3R: Sorry but a list view will not be added to the official Gridlauncher releases. If someone wants to fork the repo and add this themselves then this is possible of course, but I don't want to do it myself
• @Ripper00420: The text and colours on screen are hax booting up, not the launcher.

Other issues already logged on GitHub will be addressed in due course.

Oh good point. I did a quick search in ctrulib for a few terms which I thought were likely to relate to getting the fw version and nothing came up. I'll check the menuhax manager source.

@ihaveamac @mashers it makes sense considering menuhax manager automatically detects your firmware version so that it can install.

The ironhax installer does the same thing.

Yes, I'm building the updated homebrew menu now to try it out myself and I'll look into merging this feature into Gridlauncher.

Just grab a handle to "hb:kill" to see if you're on hax 2.6, and offer a button to exit the menu (or just make reboot exit instead of hardware resetting).

You're welcome guys! It wasn't hard to implement actually, I just integrated the changes made in the original launcher and tweaked the UI bits to fit in with the START menu in Gridlauncher. The real thanks should go to @smealum et al, and also to @ihaveamac for drawing my attention to this earlier this morning as I had no idea it was even a thing.

Oh by the way, I can't get any Lua apps to run on my 10.6 arm9loaderhax sysnand, so I don't know if the online updater is working properly. Could someone try it out and let me know please? Thanks in advance!

just tested it and its working great(non a9l). no more shutting down to get out of homebrew on emunand. i assume its supposed to pop the error message up after it closes

Great, glad it's working for you Did it update ok through the online updater? And yes, the error you get on the system home menu is normal. It's the way *hax triggers the exit.
