So I'm doing exactly as in the yakaracolombia guide to hardmod.
I've soldered 4 wired to the sd card adapter, but the problem is that 2ds boots regular set up, instead of blue screen with numbers
What can cause the problem?

I'm using regular transcend microsd adapter and asus k53sm card reader

aren't the green and the white wires shorted ?:!!!!
and as Ryccardo said , the cmd , data0 and clock are all wired wrong
so they should be like that :
red wire = data0
black wire = cmd
as for the other 2 , you have to separate them , ican't telll wich one is gnd

I think you reversed CLK and CMD, although the photo of the adapter is not very clear!

Thanks, for the reply
Black must be CLK
White must be CMD
Red must be DAT0
Green must be GND.

I really got messed up with adapter, and I'll fix that with the help of the picture below. Hopefully the console still works.

seems like you are still mixing the wires , maybe because you are handling the sd card adapter on the opposite side , you better use a multimeter to check the wires location before you connect the sd adapter to a sd card reader
here is a picture i found somwhere to show the correct wires (to an o3ds)

Yeah I know that picture, and there is for 2ds

And this is where confusion with CLK and CMD

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Here we can see that TP260 is CLK and TP253 is CMD

But on this picture they are the opposite

Well, I swapped black and white wires and still no progress - 2ds normally boots

you know that you must plug the sd adapter to an sd card reader before powering the 2ds?
and the adapter must not be connected to to pc till the 2ds shows the blue screen?

Well, I've bought a new card reader for this (transcend ts-rdp5) and now the blue screen with bootrom and error code comes. But the problem is, that my PC won't see the MMC device, when I launch windiskimager

What can be wrong?

So finally I got it right, and diskimager can see my 2ds
But now the problem is, that diskimager gives me error 19 (protected from writing)

my current adapter is set to unlocked and doesn't have that plastic part, so my card reader won't even set it to locked
Ditto cutting it off like that could be what caused it to act how it is. Make a new adapter mod and try with it without cutting off or removing the lock switch. Even if it is in "unlocked" mode.

Yes the switch or something has to be there for the reader to write. It does nothing in the adapter its self.
