@DarkFlare69 I've seen various reports of people using different versions of the DLL file that is supplied on the first page, I tried about 3 before I got the correct one, also I left it right in the directory with the files.

Do not ask if you can achieve this without a hardmod, you can't.
Yes, you can do it if you do not have a hard-mod, just hard mod your 3DS then fellow the tutorial.

Now, without jokes, it worked for me
Updated from 4.5 to 10.5 then DG using this method to 10.2 then downgraded to 9.2 then re-injected my original 4.5 NAND
yes, all was for science!

:yay3ds:

I'm with a N3DS Bricked, tryied downgrade from 10.3 but put the O3DS cias. Now i'm trying a hardmod to try recover from the brick,
But i'm getting problems with my SD Card Reader, the thing doen'st show in my windows.

I've seeing that guy tryied, but i'll try to.
It does not work.

10.5.0-28J downgrade all ok ;) THX
What 3DS do you have? Old or new?

Reporting a successful downgrade from 10.5U to 10.2U then downgraded again to 9.2U. The only problem that I encountered is I am unable to install menuhax after the 10.2 downgrade. Perhaps, it is a payload incompatibility after the 10.2 downgrade. Good thing I have OoT 3D and used OoT3dhax instead for 9.2 downgrade. I am unable to flash the NAND chip with my laptop's card reader but still able to flash it with my very old card reader. The speed was 1MB/s even I use all the DAT lines but at least, it can flash the chip.

Quick question, if I have a NAND backed up and I somehow screw up a system using sysUpdater, can I flash the NAND back into the unit and it will work again right? Also, is there a program that can verify if you have a valid backed up NAND? I'm going to try to downgrade 2 more consoles that I have.

Yes.

The only way to know 100% that your NAND backup is good is to flash it, but I'd recommend taking 2 NAND backups and comparing their MD5s. If they're the same then they should be good.
