My new 3ds xl will turn on without an sd card inserted, but hen I try to turn it on with an sd card inserted the backlight comes on and nothing happens. I tried to delete homebrew off sd card, but still no luck. :(
Plz help, still have warranty so considering sending it in

Sounds like you might have somehow either messed up the SD card or the sysnand. What homebrew stuff have you done with your 3ds?

EDIT: Also, if you have an auto.3dsx file on the root of your SD card, try removing that.

only emulators and minicraft

and I used to use ironhax, but now only menuhax and broswerhax

try holding a button while powering up. might be a menuhax payload thats not compatible with your sysnand
noob question, but whats a sysnand?

Step 1) Remove your sd card.
Step 2) Turn on your console.
Step 3) Insert your sd card without power off.
Step 3) Wait till programs appear on home menu.
Step 4) Go to themes and change it for the white one.

k I do not have my 3ds on me right now but will try as soon as I get to it

And if that does not work for some crazy reason, back up your Nintendo 3DS folder to your computer and format the SD card. Then put the folder back onto the SD card.

Insert the SD card while the 3ds is on. (be careful around the battery since youre on n3ds)
