Hacking is the 3ds update pack the same as 2ds update pack ?

I have a 2ds in 8.1 , I want to update it to 9.2
is the update pack for o3ds works with 2ds ? or there is a specific one for 2ds ?
any recommendation before updating using pasta mod in rxTools ..

2DS is an "Old" 3DS so it's the same. don't go lower than 6.0 though.
