look in the definitive sticky for loading the exploits online, some hosts have a link to remove the update you started, you may need to run it 2 or 3 times for it too work. you dont need to run any kernel link before using.
ok I'll try it.

Yeah I have two connections but I set up both with the DNS. What is update deleter?
Try only one connection and wait if the update starts again.
For safety you can additionally use URL blocking if your router supports that.
That should be all domains you have to block:

nus.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.cdn.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net
c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.wup.shop.nintendo.net
nus.cdn.shop.wii.com
cbvc.cdn.nintendo.net
cbvc.nintendo.net

I honestly just want to be able to install some kind of Homebrew Channel to the system menu, which I gather requires an IOSU exploit. Not everybody looking forward to the IOSU exploit is doing so for piracy.

there is so much more then just piracy to come from iosu. like the 3 comments above mine!!! this is just a pooooooor yet boring excuse to hear now seein as loadiine works without the fuckin iosu!!!!!

I want a "off switch" for the gamepad.
Most of the time I'm playing with the pro controller and have to go to the basement until the connection disconnects and turn off the pad.
You can just turn off the screen from gamepad settings in the home menu xD

I just want the possibility of usb access with IOSU so then eventually "maybe" I'll be able to decrypt my wii u formatted harddisk and backup my downloaded games and save files to the PC

I don't know why you guys are very interested in usb hdd support !!

Previously in wii the SD cards was very small capacity and those with higher capacity was crazily expensive , so hdd was a good idea

Now you can buy a 64gb for less than 20$US (which is probably enough for 90% of your wii u games library) and it's very portable,convenient,99% compatible (no power supply issues),doesn't failed when fall down and much more.

because wii u does not allow to make backup of downloaded games and save data to sd card

The backup argument actually makes sense, for once, on the Wii U .. because there are few games exclusive to the consoles that are worth buying, so while waiting for the scene to develop, a lot of people ended up just buying the games anyway. And now we actually want to backup those games to reduce wear and tear.
Also, having all your games on a central HDD is super handy. I have over 70 Gamecube games. Way easier to carry around an HDD instead of 75 titles.
