So this morning my phone has suddenly not been able to receive any data from my wifi. It can connect to it, but there's no data. It can also connect with other networks and work fine. My computer can also connect to the same wifi and works fine as well. Is my phone being blocked from using it? If so how can I get around this without asking my landlord why he blocked my phone?

It could be many things, up to and including some kind of hardware failure (try some other wifi if you can). Most likely though if it is a block and this is just basic consumer gear then it would probably be a mac address filter of some form. Find something to change your wifi mac address (not sure what is out there but it is possible as people were doing it for various 3ds things around here) and then try.

It does work on other wifis. I can't find an app that will spoof a mac address without me rooting the phone. Is there a way to permanently change my phones mac address?
