has anybody used the unlock code and is not banned because the bans seem to have something to do with overuse of the unlock code

I primarily used the unlock code with gateway and still haven't been banned. Never used ntr either.

Well, I really didn't think they would go this far. To be honest, I am a little bit disappointed as it was a really cool little game and I really love claw games! But it was also really addictive so I'm quite happy that I cannot play it anymore, too

Anyone have a link to the thread that gives instructions on how to import someone else's badge data

those badges are japanese one , the system badge wont work on EU or US 3DS, also, they just 900 badges.

So we are sol... oh well it was fun while it lasted. Though it would have been nicer of Nintendo if they would have done a "warning" ban for 2 weeks and if they see another illegal activity ban it for good.
That way the Bunny would've got some more money in its greedy hands maybe...

They don't even think you'll ever play legit again so you can't have it at all? Feels like bullshit, since they didn't even perma-ban people for straight up pirating games last time.

Also, did what error code did you get? 022-2803 or something else? Maybe other codes mean a different kind of ban.

I got 022-2803, like almost all the other users here. However, marksteele reported another error code:

022-2813 Is what I got, Nintendo's website keeps waffling on whether the code even exists or if it's a wi-fi connection error.

Can anyone confirm if bans are limited to NNID or the device-unique CTCert is blocked as well? (If you have a ban, try running Badge Arcade in other regions with a different NNID)

Seeing if it is based on NNID will require a system transfer.

Just setup a seperate emunand with different NNID and secureinfo_a and test the game again. If the ban is still there then it's most likely tied to CTCert (since we can't swap that)

It's some console unique data used to generate encryption keys and allows Big N to idenfity each console, it's permanently burnt to the 3DS's CPU so we can't change that.
