I agree it is a bit pedo, but they also censored costumes that aren't anywhere near pedo, like Tiz's Dimensional Officer costume. I don't necessarily agree with the original designs of some of these costumes, but if they are included in the game in Japan, they should be included elsewhere as well. That's the problem with tailoring releases to a specific region. Once you start down that path, who decides what survives unscathed and what gets removed or altered? Let the people who buy the damn game decide for themselves whether or not something is objectionable. Stuff was removed from Xenoblade Chronicles X that had nothing to do with sexuality, such as Easter eggs referencing other Xeno series games. That's absolutely not necessary. Just because Westerners might not get such references is no excuse to remove them. If that's one of the criteria for removal, then 90% of Yo-Kai Watch's yokai would have to be removed, as well as a huge percentage of Pokemon.
