Hacking Found Unnecessary Data Problem

I have a Wii U on 5.4U spoofed to 5.5.1U I am having a problem after trying to apply an update to ssb by using the kernel then using the wup and the update that I have acquired from NUSgrabber. I have went in to data management and always presented with this Found Unnecessary data I let it run for several hours and it did nothing I had to do a hard reboot. I have deleted ssb and several other things and it still gives me that problem. I saw before there was ??? block of data and I deleted that before but this time I dont see anything in there so I have no idea what to do now any ideas? I tried going to the website for the update remover but is that only for 5.3.2 reason I ask is I only see a white screen it doesnt lock up or anything but it doesnt do anything either.

The version on wupinstaller.com doesn't work properly on 5.4. You can use the one from here to install it. It has a faulty error check disabled to allow these larger updates to install, so it's use at your own risk, but it has been working for everyone so far.

Though you said you fully deleted SSBU even? Is it digital version or disc? If it's digital, and you've already deleted it, then you can just run ksploit and then NNU to access the EShop and redownload SSBU with the version of it.

No I have the disc based version I delete the update data it had ??? on it and I deleted my saves too and I still get unnecessary data and it wants to try and delete whatever it is now and I am confused as what to do if I apply the new update with this fix my unnecessary data issue?

Choose to delete the unnecessary data, and run the wupinstaller from the thread I linked you. It should install your SSBU update within roughly 25-45 minutes depending on your SD card.
Did you at least back up your save data to an external hard drive?
